I had a house fire and my two little kids lost everything. They refused to rent us for a weekly rate until my daughters father called the cops on them.
They stated they would rent to the cop but we decided to leave. It was horrible treatment. I do not recommend. Zero stars and spit in his face for my kids👌🏻

Horrible place and people

I was looking for a place to stay. Ran across this motel and could not believe that it hasn’t been boarded up. You can tell the only money they make is off of drug dealers and dope heads. I am glad I did my homework on this trash motel. Get rid of this eye sore. My rant is done. If you stay here “GOOD LUCK”

I have stayed here a couple of times, WHY, rooms are dark, refrigerators don't work, stairs are steep. Never again and I hope it gets taken down. Please do not stay here there are a number of better places.

Dark and questionable

watch out they used pictures of another hotel and claimed it was their own look at the 4th or 5th picture and then go look at the holiday inn express they used it to make it seem like their hotel was nice which it is not

MISLEADING

Went their with son as could not access our summer home due to fog’ needed a place to sleep only. Have been coming to Branford for 54 years and have stayed at almost every motel hotel in the area except for this one for the same reason. Police presence there and circling the place all night was a major flag. Vanity was closed with a board. Capet was filthy. Faucet was broken off tub and tub had what looked like dead roaches in it. People arguing outside perhaps drunk sounded young. Man with hoody looking like he was there to score or deliver drugs. Constant knocking on doors near us and banging noises. Place seemed to quiet down after 3 am perhaps those there for short visit left. Did not feel safe there or comfortable there. Was horrified and shocked what a dump. Place should be closed down and demolished! Definite an eyesore for Branford. Asked if their was an aaa or aarp discount or a first floor room or a room with a double bed was told no asked for a wake up call was told they don’t do that. Indian woman in the office was pleasant and seemed to be trying sad this place should is so bad it should be condemned! Asked for a two bed room was told not available. Asked if they say yes to anything.no response. Don’t stay here if I had known would have driven back to ny and gone home. Bullet proof glass in office had to go their twice to ask where room was could not find it more than one building. This place is bad for Branford and does not fit the area.deli mart on property seemed to be closed abandoned and non functional. No shampoo in room and strange smelling soap spider cracked vanity top. Massive neglect on maintenance very dated place. Only reason we tried it was looked at a review and someone rated it pleasant

Scary place

I booked a room directly with the motel.  Due to a winter storm, all flights into New England were cancelled so I wasn't able to get there.  I called to cancel the reservation, and the woman said she couldn't cancel it.  Of course the hotel could cancel the reservation if they wanted to! They just wanted to collect some free money at the expense of a victim of uncontrolled circumstances.  I suggest not patronizing a motel that is rude and dismissive of circumstances beyond the guest's control.

Rude and dismissive

Filthy room and bath. We should have left and found another motel. We found this place on Priceline. The carpet was stained. The door to the bath was marked up and dirty. The light over the vanity was a naked blub. The TV was out of the 80's and the picture was terrible. We were dressing at about 9:00 AM and the cleaning crew demanded entry. We told them that we were dressing, but they continued to demand entry. I had to go out to get them away from the door. Twice. This place is used as along term residence.

What a dump

We could not stay there. My first time trying to book through trip advisor. I had picked a non smoking room at rodeway inn in Brampton and then it sent me to travelocity and so I just clicked ok not realizing I was at a different site and somehow ended up in a smoking room at Brampton inn. Didn't realize this until I went to rodeway and they said I had no room there. Then I checked the confirmation from TripAdvisor and saw what had happened. Had to find another place. Lost money if course
