Checking into our hotel on a full moon. 
Located behind sketchy buildings in a lifeless part of town on an abandoned gravel alley, we found our hotel. “Granny’s House Motel” 
Out front we saw the most horrifying giant statue of a mother and her daughter. “Dude, the doll has no f*cking Head!” I said. The hotel looked like a very well done theme park haunted house. WTF!?
     The lady inside literally had red cutting lines across her arms. She gave us room 13… seriously? We both looked at each other in sincere disbelief. 
Walking cautiously to the room we heard what sounded like a cat or child scream. I tried to take a photo of the room door but my camera didn’t do it. Weird. Fortunately my Roomate’s camera worked. Totally freaked out I looked under the bed. I found a dolls shoe. 
That’s enough. We immediately left and got a room at the motel 6 across the street without even checking out. I guess we need to return the key tomorrow.
     This is not a story, true as f*ck. Not today Satin.

Not today Satin

I am a travel agent and booked a couple guests here and had very negative feedback.   Bedding had not been changed from a previous guest.  Hotel phones did not go to front desk.  TV sets did not work.   Overall, building and general area were in very poor condition.   I will never book another room here for anyone despite the good price.

Disgusting

Nothing fancy at all, but clean room, shower. We had been driving and just needed to crash for a while, so didn't care for any amenities. Asked where I could get a coffee, and owner made a pot, so that was plus. 

Oh, gotta check out the spooky statue of "granny". Scary looking kid holding a headless doll!

Cheap

For starters, 'Granny's Motel and Restaurant' is no longer a restaurant, and just goes as 'Granny's Motel.' Please, do not come here looking for glamour or luxury. However, if the cheapest price is what you are looking for, and hot water and a bed are enough for you, this is not a horrific way to spend $45 dollars. Though we were in a smoke free room, the smell of cigarettes is still there. There are small holes in the wall plugged up with tissue paper. Those things aside, however, there's hot water if you wait a couple minutes, and plenty of it. There's cable television, large, clean beds (bring extra bedding if you're there during colder months, there's only sheets and a thin comforter,) fast wifi, though you need to ask for the password.
The rooms are old, and you can tell, but they are clean. The attendances were helpful and friendly. There are no refunds here. There's no continental breakfast. There is a fridge in the room. Some other reviews mentioned bugs-- I saw none.

Not much, but cheap

We had stayed at Granny;s Motel some years ago---- clearly under different ownership--- and had fond memories of our stay, including a lovely restaurant .  We had wonderful meals and a comfortable night.  Not so this trip!  Some of the furniture probably was fro the previous, charming era, but overall the stay was worse than disappointing.  When we entered our "non Smoking " room, there was a strong smell of smoke.  The switch did not work on the lamp in the corner.  The security  lock on the door was broken .  There was one bar of soap--- from a motel on the Jersey SHore.  SLOW hot water--- wasn;r sure I would have a hot shower.  HUGE holes in the driveway.    Not at all sure that the towels were fresh---not necessarily used, but not clean, either.  We won't be back....

We won't stay again!

Our family was on our way back from Hersheypark. We needed gas and decided to get off in Frackville. We saw from a distance a statue of "granny" with her grandchild. We needed to go back and take a picture next to it. Her grandchild was holding a doll with no head. That was creepy in itself. But once we saw the owner we decided to get the hell out of that place. Thus expirience shocked us severely for life. DO NOT STAY HERE. It was defiently a memory we will not forget.

Headless doll?

Okay where to start... My cousin and I were taking a Pennsylvania road trip and said oh man we have to stay there! So we made a point of heading near granny's as the day got later only problem was we didn't know what a dump the place was! It was pitch black by the time we arrived we took one look at the place and got totally sketched out but unfortunately its the only place near there to stay that wasn't ridiculously over priced. The hotel owners speak little to no English. The rooms were disgusting.. We laughed the entire time because it literally couldn't have gotten any worse. And something about our neighbors in the motel made us sleep with every lock on the door engaged and the couch against the door just for good measure. Not a place for families spend the extra money! Also, no continental breakfast.
