In relation to the type of hotel this is (budget friendly), I give this hotel 3 stars, but know what you are getting.

This hotel is old, doesn’t offer breakfast, and is very basic.  We asked for adjoining rooms and were only offered rooms that were located across the hall from each other, so I’m assuming there aren’t any adjoining rooms.  This hotel didn’t have many guest so I doubt that those rooms were all taken.

This hotel was clean, but due to its offered accommodations and amenities I wouldn’t stay here as a family.  It was ok for a guys hunting trip though.

Overall, you get what you pay for with this hotel.

As expected

housekeeping staff working very diligently to clean hotel.  However, the chemical odor lingered after they had stopped cleaning.  Eyes and nose burned.  Went to front desk but unable to get attention of clerk located in back office.  So I called front desk to discuss the situation but no answer.  Had to leave and go to another hotel.  Busted my budget.

This was the dirtiest, most disgusting place we’ve ever stayed in. The bathtub had dirt, scum, and rings around it. This was the first time I felt cleaner not showering. I slept in my clothes. Had my husband not been exhausted we would have left even though there were no other rooms in town! I would have slept in my vehicle first. Don’t stay here, you’ll be disgusted too.

Filthiest place

This is a budget motel. But that shouldn’t prevent renovations, repairs, or maintenance from getting in the way of presenting a good product. While this motel provides the basic necessities of a bed, bathroom, phone, television, clock radio, table, chair, microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, and wifi, it needs TLC. For a higher rating, shampoo the carpet, replace worn or broken window coverings, patch holes, a new coat of paint, and ratings will be higher. On the brighter side, it is located close to the freeway, one can park in front of one’s room, there is a guest laundry room. There are restaurants, gas stations, and general stores nearby.

Needs maintenance for a better review

Room was clean, staff was okay to deal with, was a good value. Nothing fancy, also not far from the Silo Welcome Center & across from McDonald’s. Not far off the interstate...pretty much the last stop before you’re getting to Colorado heading west across Kansas so good location 

Good stop

We were heading from Omaha to Phoenix, and the Day 1 stop was planned for Colby, Kansas. The Motel 6 there was our choice, and it was a good one. The property is right off I-70. Check-in was quick and easy (we reserved our room while on the road). The room was clean and included a microwave and mini-fridge. All this for just under $60 was a great deal. The only downside was the noise in the hallway after I tried to get to sleep and again (briefly) early in the morning. But that's to be expected anywhere you stay. All in all, it was an excellent stay. And the young man working the front desk was polite and very helpful -- especially when it came to figuring out how to get channels on our TV.

Economical place to stay off Kansas I-70

We found a good deal on a room and since there were things that we wanted to see in Colby the next day, we decided to stay here. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Very large as hotel rooms go. Our room looked out over the parking lot and had both an inside entry door and one leading to the parking lot. That was nice, because we didn't have to walk all the way to front of the building and then backtrack the distance back to the room. 

Everything was clean and fresh smelling, the floors were wooden so no dust trapped in old carpet. 

No breakfast, but they did have fresh coffee. 

I would stay here again if we are in the area. 

Good Night's Sleep

this hotel was the cleanest hotel i have stayed in in colby ks i would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants reasonable priced clean room with great customer service and amazingly perfect room that smell amazing and are clean to the max. they have all hard wood floors and the staff is wonderful to deal with on a daily basis!! i stayed here for 3 weeks and the customer service never wavered and they helped me out as much as possible!! this motel is conveniently in walking distance to all the food places and most food places deliver too! the staff here ia amazingly nice and helpful and always go above and beyond what you need. conveniently far enough from the interstate for no noise but still close enough to get on your way. i would recommenced this hotel for even just a night or a long term stay!!

AMAZING COMFORTABLE SAFE STAY

The room was very clean smelled great I loved the hardwood floors large tv fridge in room amazingly comfortable bed!wonderful priced too!! Customer service was great!! I loved this hotel I felt very safe here!
