Make sure the girl working check-in and check-out during the daytime on weekends puts her cellphone or book down and does her job.  Also, don't forget your toothbrush, they don't stock extras and the hot tub has been out of service for three years.

Poor Service

Three rooms were booked.  Furniture had been stained and was not dry in two of the rooms.  People in the rooms got stain on hands and clothing.  Had to be relocated to rooms on another floor.  Pool was dirty.
Laminate on floor panels was coming up and was uncomfortable on the feet.  Room was not very clean
Will not book with this hotel chain again.

Poor ecperience

Full of ants!! Tried to get a discount because of it and they never gave it to me . Even though they had to vome to my room and had to spray the area where there was about 40-50 ants swarming because of food that sat out for not even 10 minutes

Ant farm

Room not very clean. There was no toilet paper in the room.  Had to go to front desk for more.  Our one cup coffee maker was missing the basket for brewing. Asked front desk and they said all rooms were booked and they had no more coffee makers.  Attitude as thou they really didn't care!!!! 

Don't think I'll be back....

This location desperately needs remodeled revamped and employees retrained on how to handle yourselves in difficult situations in a hotel that clearly needs massive repairs. For a Wyndham location we were highly disappointed and felt that it was a waste of money that we could not get a refund on.  And the rooms were not clean the security back door did not lock at night. There is huge pot holes in the parking lot that would damage vehicles there was damage furniture and flooring in the rooms the bathrooms was not clean correctly. The rooms were not clean they were dusty little to no lighting. I'm happy that we only stayed for a night because this location was a huge disappointment.  No welcome in staff the minute we walked to the door the staff immediately complained and said hopefully everything was gonna be OK for us but they clearly did not want to listen to any more complaints about what was going on? We pulled out our camping gear because bedding smelled so bad. 

Don't stay

Online rates said AARP rate was $67.49, but it was after midnight, so couldn't reserve online. Got to hotel, was told  $98 was AARP rate, and $30 per dog per night (had 2) because they would have to do a "deep clean" afterward.  Checkout was at 11am, and since it was so late, I requested a late checkout. They gave us until....11:30! And never told the morning shift, so the front desk person came to see why we weren't out by 11am anyway. The hallway looked like someone beat the walls with a logging chain, the finish on the room door was damaged on all 4 edges, the laminate flooring finish was worn off, there was a hole in the bathroom ceiling where a vent cover was missing, tape on the mini fridge to cover a hole in the front, the spindle for the toilet paper holder was missing so the roll was just set in the niche, floors were dusty, no drain stopper in the sink...  All in all, it was shabby, and to have to pay an extra $60 to "deep clean" a room that didn't appear to have been thoroughly cleaned to begin with was irritating. I won't be staying there again, even if it means driving the 20 minutes to Worthington or Sunbury. Wyndham should be embarrassed to have their name associated with this hotel.

Shabby rip-off

Pretty good service near a shopping center fast food restaurants close by didn't have any trouble getting service if I needed anything rooms.are ok for the price nothing special or out of the ordinary 

Overall appearance and service

Greeted in the middle of the night in bathroom by a roach hatch............did not call front desk as I knew this would involve a move to another room.  Killed the bugs wiped them up with a towel and deposited them in the bath tub.  Obviously will never book this facility again

After reading some negative reviews on this site, I debated on cancelling my stay.   But I have determined some other reviews, that were unsubstantiated in their criticism!  

Some reviewers claimed that this motel was lacking in cleanliness?  NOT TRUE.   We stayed for two nights, Sept 21 & 22, 2022.  We investigated these claims and they are absolutely baseless.

Another reviewer claimed the indoor swimming pool smelled?  Again I inspected it, NOT TRUE!

This motel is typical of an older style one.  Two floors, but no elevator.  We managed on second floor.  There are some visible signs of wear in hallway doors, etc.  But the overall facility is clean.

The one area that was reviewed accurately is the
“Breakfast”.  I was surprised that their free breakfast, was packaged in a brown lunch paper bag.  As reported, it contained a juice box, Hostess coffee cake, Granola bar, and a bottle of water!
Your “grab and go” breakfast was sitting on the lobby reception desk counter.

The motel does have a designated “breakfast room”.  But when I proceeded there, a posted sign directed you to the lobby, for your breakfast.

This breakfast arrangement was the low point of our stay.

The staff is top notch!  We would definitely stay there again.  

It’s location is a major plus too.  Located within feet of several businesses:  Starbucks, Jersey Mike Subs, Walmart, Kroger, pizza restaurant, Chinese restaurant, 

This is not a four or five star motel.  Basic accommodation that suited us just fine.

Ignore Other Subjective Inaccurate Reviews!

Bare minimum, then cutting corners a bit more lands you in the owners mindset here. If it’s not required, it’s not offered. As a shopper at Costco, I know the breakfast costs you maybe $2. It’s tough to spend more when you’ve gotten used to spending so little, but you need to upgrade the breakfast. The towels and sheets should have been tossed a few years and hundreds of wash cycles ago, and the furniture either needs to be deep cleaned or replaced. It’s simply impossible to run a hotel and never replace or upgrade anything. Also, watch out for the vending machines as the pricing is all over the place and there’s additional fees charges that are not displayed, which was sort of symbolic of my entire experience here.
