The room smelled like mold. The toiletries had been left, used, in the shower. The water in the tub was a dirty brown color and tasted terrible! The beds were ok, very little airflow— it felt suffocating. We should have left, but we were tired. We saved $20 on the room compared to others, so make the choice. We’ve stayed at other places in Glendive. It is a nice town with  Makoshika Park nearby.

A bargain you will regret?

This was our second time staying at the Riverside Inn. Everything was great. the staff is friendly and everything was clean. It is conveniently located just off Interstate 94 and close to downtown. It is also close to several eateries.

Great Place to stay in Glendive.

Great Managers/owners, not sure which. Friendly, clean,  great price. Stayed at a motel last night twice the price not 1/4 as nice. Easy access to towns museums, Yellowstone river. Easy on/off freeway 94.
Some fixtures may be a bit worn but totally functional and CLEAN
All rooms have easy access no stairs or hallways to navigate

Great small business locally owned

Owner was friendly, check in was efficient. Room was clean & comfortable. Price was reasonable. We had exited the interstate, looking for a place to stay for the night. It was close to gas stations & convenience stores. It was also close to the interstate, but far enough away to be quiet. My husband, the coffee drinker, says "damn good coffee and a generous amount." I would definately stay there again.

Nice reasonably priced motel

The Riverside Inn is a terrific bargain.  Our stay was very pleasant.  The room was clean and neat.  In particular, we had stayed in another hotel the night before and either myself or my wife would take a shower because the shower looked awful.  Not the case at the Riverside Inn, where we were happy to shower.  The air conditioner worked fine and was noticeably quieter than other ACs we've experienced on our trip.  If you don't mind a physical key (no key cards - perhaps a feature instead of a bug) this property is better than most that cost twice as much - a real bargain.

Great bargain, very pleasant

Great price & my room was huge. Kathleen at the front desk made check in a breeze & super friendly!!! Would definitely recommend! Parking was great & the price was more than reasonable. Very quiet as well

Great place!

Although this is an older motel, the room has been very well maintained.  Beds were comfortable, room clean.  Air conditioning units newer.  Staff friendly.  Motel is close to restaurants with grocery stores just a short distance away.  We stayed seven nights and will stay again.

Affordable Stay

In an effort to economize, we booked 2 rooms here while visiting Terry, Medora, Teddy Roosevelt Park, as well as a wedding nearby. We stayed 6 nights. We came with an attitude of glamping and were not disappointed. Rooms were clean, staff was SUPER accommodating, beds were comfortable.  Fridge and microwave were great to have.  There was some noise when neighbors arrived during the night, but that’s to be expected. I’d  stay here again and recommend it for others.

I rolled into town after hours with a online reservation and staff kindly went out of their way to get me checked in after hours, it was very quiet and clean with everything I needed for good night sleep for the road ahead of me the next day

Clean quiet night

First appearances will throw you off. The rooms are very well kept, clean and the owner is very professional and courteous. For a motel in the middle of nowhere MT, good bang for the buck! I would definitely stay again in the future.
