I was really upset with this motel they had went downhill and I'm sure it's because of COVID not having funds come in to keep the motel up but we spent the night I got bit in the arm by a big wolf spider of which I found the next morning under the bed there was a crack under our bathroom door leading into the hallway but the door was locked on the inside so I put a towel under it the pool area and the Jacuzzi were full of mold after getting in I realized I had to get out it was bad, I was really upset because I used to love quality in and I still love quality in in other towns but I know COVID had heard a lot of businesses thank you Biden.

A lot of businesses went downhill because of COVID

This property is a little older but very clean with a wonderful hot tub, pool and free breakfast. The bed was quite comfortable as well. A unique set up with both an interior door and exterior door from your room. The limited interaction I had with the staff was good too. Certainly a place to consider, especially compared to properties costing over twice as much.

A decent value for Traverse City.

The room was very nice, the living room was separate from the bedroom which was great privacy for our friend that stayed with us. Was also surprised to see a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. Only negative we experienced is a bad smell in the hallways, like old cigarettes. 

Good deal

The exterior is deceiving, and the elevator didn’t function very efficiently, but the room itself was something else. The layout proved to be extremely spacious with a small combined kitchen/ dining area that was really nice and the bed was extremely comfortable.  I wish that I could’ve had more control of the thermostat as it was a bit warm, but the staff was very friendly.

Nice breakfast, friendly staff.  Hotel is older but comfortable.  Love the location. We were comfortable in the beds.  Hot tub and pool were nice.  We were moved to first floor when we called and asked. The staff were the best part of the stay.

We enjoyed our stay

In reading the reviews I began to doubt my choice. I was so thankful I kept my reservation.  Was the elevator and lobby area a little unkempt - sure with people in and out from the woods, beach and wilderness, that's par for the course.  THE ROOMS were good sized - loved the separate area for toilet & tub and very clean!  Could we hear the people up above when they were banging around - sure but not under normal circumstances.  I will say I wish the heating & cooling was a little different but it worked very well!    
To those who say it's "dated" sure it is but we're not talking 70's or 80's merely not "up with the times" of the fancy foo foo of a high end property BUT it's NOT a high end property - it's a clean QUALITY CHOICE for a hotel in which to sleep, shower and have a nice breakfast.  Every staff member we came across was kind, welcoming and even humorous at times.  I would happy opt to select this property again on my next visit to the area!

Perplexed at the reviews - safe, clean & comfortable

We’ve stayed here many times, but probably won’t be going back.  The room was ok, but it was way too noisy & dated.  Some of the guests were cooking their own dinners in the parking lot, having loud parties next to our room!  I woke up at 1:45am to lots of shouting/laughing & very loud talking.  Because we had to be at the airport at 4:30am, we were trying to get some rest.  There was no one at the front desk to help us.  When I tried to call, I kept getting a busy signal.

The hotel is not well managed any more.

Quality you let me down we love qualitywherever we’ve been and wherever we have gone but Traverse City quality  surprised us with cracks and the doors big enough to let cockroaches with saddles on their back in mold around the entire pool and on the inside of the Jacuzzi the floor and the pool was cracking and coming off couldn’t tell if there was residue from human feces at the bottom or dog feces although dogs were not allowed in the pool they were allowed on the property there’s a $20 charge per dog that we were not told about the bed was comfortable the room was clean then I got bit by a spider large spider during the night I had to stick toilet paper in the crack of the door to keep the spiders from coming in and then all night long till 2:30 in the morning someone was kicking the wall next to us a lot of noise a lot of kids seem like the walls were really thin Wanna a great motel go two doors down or book with best Western plus yes best Western we were surprised rooms were clean quiet off to themselves very clean large breakfast beautiful big large deep swimming pool clean Oh and by the way the water was way warmer at best weatern the water was no more than 60° at quality which were told it was 85 that was a joke the water at best western was 80 for sure I would skip this quality inn until someone finds out that they did some updating it wouldn’t take much to update I understand because of Covid things have fallen down but really huge cracks in the door someone to put their finger in or peek in your room especially into the bathroom  spiders under the bed or somewhere I would skip room 135

Wow Quality and you let me down

Place was ran down, needs major updates. Many construction workers with huge trucks, check in was a nightmare. The location was the only good aspect. Room was on the 3rd floor, which was the best part of the hotel. Absolutely no water view from anywhere.

Not as expected

Been to this property before and they've definitely made improvements!  From fresh paint to new carpet, I can tell they've made changes.  Love the staff here and close to everything I need without the crazy prices downtown.  Will definitely be back!
