The wonderful people who run this Inn are exceptional!
I was stranded on the highway with a flat in the dark.  It was raining hard.  I could not get help from car service.
I was able to book a room here and the owner offered to come out to the hwy to pick me up.  When he found me he offered to change the tire (in the rain).   After he put on the spare he followed me back to the Inn.  After a good night's rest I was able to get back on the road the next morning.
There are not enough words to describe the generosity and the "above and beyond" attitude.
From the bottom of my heart I thank the owners and wish them all the best.

Above and beyond service!

Rooms are nice. Owners are very nice people. Great place to stay. Great prices! Rooms are very large. Comfortable beds. Clean sheets and towels. New floors. Rooms cleaned daily. Owners are very helpful!

Very nice.

It was super cheap compared to tons of places in North Charleston I’ve stayed in that are way worse & more expensive. It was quite, clean, super friendly owners, amazing service, & even with them renovating my husband & I slept soo well! Thank you Ashley Lodge we cannot wait to come back again and enjoy the amazing service & spacious rooms y’all have! Best wishes!

Amazing

I would not recommend this hotel. It was disgusting and it gave you an unsafe feeling. There was dead bugs all over the bathroom floor and the beds were uncomfortable. The shower was nasty and the water smelt horrible.  We tried to get our money back but the lady said absolutely NO REFUNDS. So beware!!!

Worst hotel ever!

i was traveling 1100 miles on business and called be fore i left.. everything was great.. fine no problem...
i called be fore arrivals and new person answered phone said was manager and was SUPER B#%&CH.. I THOUGHT I HAD WRONG NUMBER.. i asked if i had right place and it just got worste.. it was like she was mad about something that i have no idea. so i ended the call as politely as i could. and called tge next morning.. thinking maybe night manager. 
NOPE SAME MEAN PERSON..

manger is a monster

I made a reservation for the night before the Solar Eclipse 2017 on Expedia the week before it.  After driving 3 1/2 hours to get there, the front desk person said we're full, and would not honor the reservation.  She seemed mad at Expedia for taking the reservation, and would not help me at all, like it wasn't her problem.  It seemed like a trashy place, between an RV park and a laundromat, out in the country.  I wonder if they sold my room to a higher bidder.

I'd have booked this place four months in advance and booked the room with my credit card, I stay regularly but I pay in cash. I don't get the receipt with a stupid excuse... and I'm already worried but I document my stay at the hotel with photos and videos. After two days of booking, I'm sure you'll be able to avoid paying the hotel's fees... and I've always asked you to stay at the hotel, and I've explained that if you want to pay more, I've always asked you to stay at the hotel, and I've always asked you if you want to stay at the hotel, if you want to pay more, and I've explained that I've always paid more...

Far away from this place!

No Senior rate, price exorbitant ($65 + taxes) Roaches in room, bed not made properly, no cups, no plastic bag in ice bucket, doors filthy, no way to rent room until after 5 (no one present) impossible to use sink faucets without water splattering all over, this is the worst room I have ever had, especially for the very high cost. I can rent a very clean Quality Inn or Days Inn for the same rate and without other guests in the room (roaches). This place should be condemned. Two years ago it was very nice here.

A very bad motel.

It was OK when I first got there in October 2016 I could stand it. Once the new management took over in December 2016 they made it the worst hotel I've ever been in. It's a joke. These people went threw each and every room searching everyone's stuff. They have bed bugs, and cockroches. Most of the rooms smell like dog pee. They don't have a list of rules they make them up as they go. They will kick u out of the hotel if u have a gun in your room, but there r no signs saying anything bout not having a gun. I have a permit and they tried to kick me out.
