Pillows were as flat as plywood, mattress was about as comfortable as a lumpy pile of hay, toilet leaked out the front and didn't flush properly half the time, cleanliness neglected. shoved out a day early, several items "mysteriously disappeared" while we were out of the room, microwave recursively tripped the breaker. The only good thing was the shower head and tv.

Absolute worst stay at a hotel I've ever had; heavily overcharged for the room, stay away.

Under new management the gentleman needs to hire housekeepers and fix the outlets. Also the ac units need to be repaired. $60 a night isn’t bad but definitely needs repairs done. I would say hire people to work here instead of one guy doing it all.

Needs improvement

We just wanted a cheap place to sleep before we headed to the Cosmosphere and salt mine. We typically like to patronize independently owned operations of all kinds. I find trip advisor to be very reliable information. With that said this is in fact a 2 star motel with a 2 rating at best. We wanted a lower level room they only had 2 doubles. The woman said we could have that room for the same rate as a queen "IF you do not use the other bed." That was a first, we should have just peeled out at that point.The pool has been filled in, they should at least grow some veggies in there. The general exterior is what you would expect for a 2. The room was not exceptionally clean. The bed was horrible, sheets pilly, flat pillows and just plain bad. Water was hot. Towels were not absorbent. We had trouble locating an outlet to charge electronics. We saw the management taking photos from the walkway inyo a room? Which seemed strange. I understand that this is new management but they have a long row to hoe.

We were travelling across Kansas and came across this hotel for an overnight stay.
Very friendly staff at reception.  Great room prices.  Clean rooms and comfortable beds

Recommend this hotel if you're passing through town.

Very comfortable stay

Pulled into Hutchinson after a long day on the road and really didn't want to spend $100 for a simple nights sleep.
Checked on-line and this was only about 3 blocks away...so what the heck, lets check it out.
Lady at the desk was very pleasant and welcoming.  Price was a little over $40, street was quiet, parking lot was empty and no shady characters hanging around like you might expect in some downtown locations.
Room was clean, recently painted, sheets were clean and carpet was new.
Wi-Fi was solid, ice machine worked and laundry facilities on site.
Sure it was an older property and could use a few updates but the bed was great, air conditioner worked well and the shower had plenty of hot water.
No complaints and slept well....what more can you want?
Would gladly stay there again and happy to recommend it to others.

Clean, comfortable very nice front desk lady.

The lady at the front desk was very nice.  The room was cleaned but lacked the extras that most motels have such as coffee and kleenex.  Breakfast left something to be desired.  There were two containers for cereal. One container was half full, the other container barely had cereal in it.  Also there was no milk to be found anywhere. 
 There were about four or five muffins in a basket.  There was also remodeling going on in the other rooms.  I would only recommend this hotel if you just wanted a place to sleep and didn't care about having any extras in the room.

We were in the area for business and needed a clean and affordable place to stay. This hotel was just that. Very clean and great price. The staff were very friendly and professional. The room had all the amenities we needed for an overnight stay and the water pressure was great. I would stay here again and recommend.

Much better than expected

Noisy after work. Rooms are old and need updating. Towels worn beyond use. Front desk very helpful and attentive.  Got a knock on my door at 6 pm but could not see amyone in perphile so dis not open door. A little bit scary...almost packed up and left.
