This is a budget hotel, but pretty decent for being that.  Rooms aren't very big and the console {which the holds the TV, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker, plus two drawers for clothes}, is too big for the room.  It impedes access past the hallway into the main room. I had a king size bed and it was comfortable.  There were also an upholstered chair and table (desk) with swivel chair. The room was clean and was cleaned daily, even though it was indicated it would be every other day.
Closet is open to the room, but had a definite musty smell.
The bathroom is inly large enough for one person.  The sink faucet was quirky, it's plumbed backwards.  The hot water is to the right and cold is to the left.  Early in the morning, the shower is quirky, too.  Adequate hot water for a couple minutes, then it slowly goes cold.  But leave it running and after a few minutes it warms back up and stays hot.  I stayed for about a week and it was the same every morning.
The breakfast bar was adequate:  scrambled eggs, rotating meat, waffle maker, fruit, breads, packets of oatmeal and grits, 2 fruity cereals, juice dispenser, and coffee.
Most of front staff aren't very friendly.
There is an indoor swimming pool.  It looks nice, but I didn't use it.
Also a small exercise room, which I didn't use.
Much quieter than my stay the previous year.
I will stay here again, it's a good value for the price.


Improved over my last visit

It certainly did not help my opinion when my reservation with travelocity was apparently canceled by them (I found out checking out at midnight), so the hotel could not find my reservation. 

Candace at the front desk was helpful and found one remaining suite for the night. 
The suite was nice and big, but had a pretty bad dog smell. Questionable cleanliness. 

I will not return. 

Sadly, finding a room in this town is always difficult unless you're willing to pony up.

Very budget hotel

I don't mind that this is a budget hotel - I don't expect much, just a clean, quiet room. Unfortunately the room I was given smelled heavily of mildew, which running the a/c at a lower temperature and on "dry" did not improve. As I went to bed I found a noticeably damp patch in the carpet by the bedside.

That was manageable if not ideal for one night. However when I went to turn off my alarm in the morning, a small shiny brown bug of some sort (water bug? small roach? who knows) scurried behind the headboard.  Packed up immediately and checked out.

Damp carpets, free room companion

The first impression I had of this hotel was people hanging around the entrance that didn't appear to be hotel guests. My second impression was the parking lot was at the back of the hotel on a narrow lot, so a bit of a walk to the lobby to check it.

I was looking for a cheap hotel and I got exactly what I paid for. I stayed several days and I believe the people hanging around the entrance were possibly swimmers, either guests of the hotel staff or people paying to use the pool.

Check in was quick and easy. My room was towards the back of the hotel, the the parking situation worked out. My room was a little musty smelling and very tight. There was a very large cabinet, housing a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and a couple drawers. Way too big for the space available. Only about 28 inches between the corner of the cabinet and corner of the wall.

I had a king size bed and it was comfortable. There was a worn out desk and chair, upholstered chair, and ample outlets. There were no USB ports.

The bathroom is large enough for one person at a time. Tub/shower combo. The hot & cold water were backwards from the normal arrangement in both the sink and tub/shower. I did have ample hot water for my showers. The shower curtain was improperly assembled, so water would leak on the floor. When I wiped it up with a white towel, it clearly showed that the floor had not been mopped recently. It's a dark floor, so not obviously dirty.

The breakfast bar was minimal. No orange juice, only apple juice. Hot items ranged from scrambled eggs and bacon, sausage, or ham and sausage gravy and biscuits another day. There is a waffle maker and toaster. Also fruits, breads & biscuits (although they were out of bread one day at 6:30 a.m.), cereals, and oatmeal packs.  And coffee.

The noise level was high when I arrived, several loud children and parents staying at the hotel. It got better after the weekend. 

They only service the room every 3 days or so. My room was serviced after my first night and after 3 days, the trash was emptied and fresh towels brought in. But the bed was not made up. A sign in the bathroom says it's for the environment.

Overall, I got what I paid for.

This is definitely a budget hotel 

This is an older hotel, probably formerly higher grade, but it was clean and comfortable...seemed like a lot of truckers and workmen like it.  Even with people talking outside, the AC kept the room quiet for sleeping.  Good bit of parking in the back and alongside rooms [note, rooms open from the outside].  Staff were very friendly and breakfast was above what we expected from a QI...actually, it was better than a Marriott Town Plaza in Cincinnati and a Fairfield in Tulsa, OK   Or there is a Waffle House next door if you need a lot more.  Received a great recommendation for dining in Franklin, The Willard.  Would return to both!

Older property but reasonable for the cost

This is a good hotel for travellers who want a clean place to sleep and not much more.  The amenities are basic, but I was only there to sleep and shower, and it was all I needed.  The room was clean and everything worked.  The breakfast is also basic: cereal, oatmeal (with water that is not quite hot enough), yogurt, and stale packaged Danish, but there was also a waffle bar that I did not try.  In other words, pretty good for a free breakfast right on site!

Good low-cost hotel

This hotel was fine for just the one night that we needed. There were a couple of things that needed attention on the ceiling,  but it was a comfortable stay. Check in and out went well as the clerk was good.

Fine Hotel for Overnight

We were just passing through and needed a place to sleep on our way through.  The hotel is fine for what it is. We paid about $90 and got a clean, basic room.  The beds and pillows were comfortable.  We had a problem with our first room, and when I talked to the woman at the front desk, she immediately found a new room for us.  About 15 minutes later she came to check in on us to be sure everything was okay.

Breakfast included prepackaged carbs: Pop Tarts, muffins, cinnamon rolls, and bagels; Cereals: single serving cold cereal, grits, and oatmeal packets; yogurt, oranges, and bananas; some microwave breakfast burritos, microwave eggs, and make-your-own waffles.

Good for what we needed

Decent enough place—sheets were clean and beds were comfortable.  The place/rooms looked dated—popcorn ceilings....etc.  There was also kind of a musty/dog smell.  My daughter thought it was more of an onion smell.  Breakfast was very basic—nothing fancy, but we grabbed a cup of orange juice and a cereal bar for the road.  Other than that—the place was okay for a quick overnight stay.

Overnight stay on our way to Gatlinburg 

On our way north for the holidays. After 12 hours  on the road, all you want is a quiet, restful night, on a comfortable bed. 
And that’s what we got. 
The breakfast is not a full one, but with the current situation, understandable. Clean, and friendly.
