My grandson and I were in town from central AR for a visit with an older brother near Liberty, MO,  and attend a  friend's military retirement at Ft Leavenworth. We stayed Apr 21 thru 23, 2021. Mike & his courteous staff did an outstanding job in making us feel welcome, though they had only been open for business the past two days. They fully answered each question with direct and complete information. And without hesitation provided assistance in their well designed community area to hold our small impromptu family gathering. Their kind assistance and accommodation beyond the call of duty was given without my previous notice.  I give them the highest rating possible and will give them my business whenever in the NKC/Liberty area.  Well done!

Visiting Liberty/north KC Area & Microtel 

Dirty, unmaintained, and just plain nasty. Large group of Bikers drinking in the parking lot... Unsafe at any price. Booked it on line, but when we saw it, we refused to stay. Management would not refund our deposit. Shocked that Days Inn would allow its name to be associated anything this bad.

This place is a dump!

room was terrible refused to stay and they would not give us a refund. ac was broken paint chipped on walls carpet grungy. my daughter wouldnt even walk all the way into her room it was so bad. they said we had to cacel our reservations 48 hours prior. how do you do that when we only reserved it 2 hours before arrival

The room did not appear to have been cleaned and had a foul smell. When brought to the hotel  employee Bella’s attention, it was dismissed, and my concerns were not heard. I had no other choice to to leave and request a refund. 3 days later I called and requested to speak with the manager and was told “ no need to speak to the manger I was given authorization by him to refund only 2 days because you had no valid reason for leaving “ I again explained the conditions of the room and hotel employee Bella disagreed and refused to give the contact information for the manager.  I did receive a partial refund but due to the concerns I feel that a full refund should have been granted. 

Totally disappointed.

Property is in sad shape, paint peeling, spider webs above bathroom sink, unpainted walls where there was a repair, room smelled of mold/mildew.  If my stay would have been scheduled for longer than one night (5 hours actually), I would have instantly looked for another hotel.  DO NOT waster your money here.

There's a reason the rooms are cheap!

  we checked in a little bit after 11 PM. The front desk Told us they didn't have a restroom for us to use while checking in. The floor was freshly damp. The bedsheets were never changed. Left dirty and had hair on the pillows as well. The toilet seat had urine on it.  It was too late to go somewhere else as everyone was tired. We slept on top of the blankets with hoodies and sweatpants. In the morning we went to make the complaint to front desk and showed the pictures of how the room was with time stamped on it. She argued the condition even after showing the pictures and videos of the room. Refused to accommodate any compensation and refused to give us any information on how to contact corporate office.

The property looks quite ran down.  The front of the building by the pool all the windows were boarded up. I wasn't sure if the hotel was actually still in operation. there was tall grass along the fence line and many of the room doors had large spots with missing paint. The rooms had a wet odor. The walls weren't fully painted. The ceiling had pieces missing and falling. The fan in the restroom did not work. Only one of the 3 staff members I encountered were friendly. The young lady who checked me in was quite friendly. The blonde white lady that was there for the sad excuse of a breakfast lacked emotion or concern. The maintenance man who finally showed up after 45 mins in regards to the air conditioner not working seemed to be quite annoyed. The buttons on the air condition where so worn I was sure I pressed them all because there was no longer wording on them. Nothing came on so I call the front desk. After a 45 min wait I called back because no one showed up.

The room smelled of cigarette smoke. Asked the clerk for our money back and the clerk refused. And she was rude about it. We went to a comfort inn and got a room for only $40 more 1000% nicer. I would never stay at this location or any other Days Inn ever again

Walls are super thin, can hear every shower running, toilet flushed, everything. The breakfast is cereal in a tiny coffee cup. But fast food is close and Slim Chicken (close restaurant) is amazing. Parking was good as we parked at our hotel door.

Room smelled of mold or mildew, not sure which. White sealant covering portion of gold wall. Air conditioner was filthy. Terrible stains on carpet. Painting missing and sharp metal picture hanging ledge protruding from wall.  Took one look(and smell) of the room and went to desk clerk. She refused to give us a refund, said she rented it out all the time. The room didn’t look as it was shown on web site. We went to another hotel. Don’t waste your money!
