We were traveling by motorcycle and had been on the road for many hours. Stopped for gas and saw the motel sign so drove over to it.  Friendly and helpful staff - got us checked in and the room rate was very reasonable. Cafe across the street has a good menu and lots of interesting antiques and artifacts. At check out, the desk clerk agreed to take our group photo before we departed.  Highly recommend this motel.

Quaint and Friendly

The motel is quaint with antiques in the lobby. All staff are exceptionally nice and helpful. The rooms are clean, quiet, and the beds are comfortable. 

There’s no fridge or microwave in the room. You do have a coffee maker and a nice flatscreen tv. The WiFi was good also. I didn’t have any buffering issues. 

Breakfast is donuts, breads, cereals and instant oatmeal along with juice and coffee. 

The price is right for an overnight stay while traveling. There’s a gas station and restaurant right across the parking lot. Would stay here again next time I’m in the area. 


Nice place to stp

We were returning to MN from NV and pulled of the freeway to get gas and check on a place to stay. Right next to the gas station was the Cobbler Inn Motel in Lincoln NB. We called to check on price and availability and decided to stay. The lobby was very interesting with many antiques, the check in was friendly and efficient the room was clean. If not for the one cricket in the bed when we pulled back the sheet this would have been a 5 rating. The continental breakfast was as expected and the desk clerk at checkout was very friendly and went above and beyond to show us some of the antiques and a bit of their history. Genuinely seemed proud of where she worked and who she worked for. We would stay again.

Quiet and friendly

We arrived late and were greeted with a smile as well as quick and courteous service. The beds were comfortable and the rooms clean. While some might say the decor is outdated, it is all maintained well. Upon checkout, we were asked if we had a chance to eat...we had missed the breakfast time...I told her we had not and she insisted that we have something because she doesn’t put away breakfast until she is sure all of her guests have had a chance to eat.  We were eager to get back on the road so she went out of her way to make ours to go. It was an unexpected and very appreciated gesture that made our stay very different from what you might find at a chain motel. I would stay here again anytime! Thank you, Kathryn and the rest of the staff!

Excellent customer service!

Unique location behind truck stop but pretty secluded and quiet actually and great location.  Very clean rooms - and beautiful antiques.  Older but exceptionally nice staff - especially Kathryn - and great water pressure in shower - LOL!

Super friendly, super clean

Clean, large room! Friendly easy check-in! Right off 80! Price is right! I felt the Midwest hospitality, work ethic, and pride in this quaint, well taken care of hotel. I felt I was back at my Grandmas. Breakfast was coffee, juice, milk, bread and cereal. Just what we needed to hop back on the road again. Thank you Cobbler Inn, you were fantastic!

Yes! Hidden gem is right!

Water was heated fast, sun lamp was nice, coffee in the room, comfortable temp and bed was comfortable clean. Decoration makes it look like a chalet very nice. Quiet . In a convenient area, I didn't have to drive all the way into Lincoln. Gas Station was right there. The carpet was a lil old and they skimp some on the shampoo and soaps. Bathroom was clean and plenty of towels though.

Coffee in the room, friendly staff and easy access to my room from the parking lot

A bit old-fashioned but it fulfilled nicely for a one night stay. The room was clean, only matresses a bit hard, good shower. Still to use an old fashioned key for the room. Staff was fiendly and breakfast was all right with toast, waffles and all kinds of pastry.

Friendly hotel

The Cobble Inn in Lincoln Nebraska is a very nice older motel. The lobby is awesome. Lots of antiques. The desk clerk at check in was very nice and friendly. The clerk at checkout explained many of the antiques in the lobby. She answered many questions from me. Continental breakfast donuts, toast, cereal, coffee, juice. Reasonably priced. Room very clean. Would stay again.
