The room they gave me has got to be one of the nastiest, filthiest rooms I've ever seen on any of my trips across country. I hated to even have my shoes touch the carpet. The "non-smoking" room smelled like the ashtray from my grandpas old nova. I refused to take the room so they moved me to another that had been redone. It was decent but when I open the fridge there was the remnants of a decomposed dead body in it. The smell was sickening. I closed it up and aired out the room and stayed the night. While the lady at the desk was nice, she did appear to be a tweeker as mentioned in other reviews.

An absolute dump

This hotel was one of the worst places I have ever stayed.  We called while on the road to make sure they had availability and the guy who answered gave us a great price of $50 for the night.  We were tired and eager to get some sleep so that sounded like a great deal. The guy who we spoke to stated that the rooms had recently been remodeled so we decided to go ahead and book.  Well, the quote "You get what you pay for" certainly applies here.  
Yes, it was apparent that the rooms had recently been remodeled.  In fact, our room was probably in the middle of being remodeled when we stayed there.  The whole room had a thick layer of drywall dust on it.  There was a drill bit on the window sill.  The bathroom had no curtain on the window and no shower curtain.  The outlet by the fridge did not work so the fridge was unusable.  The sheets smelled of bleach so I felt sort of confident that they had been recently washed.  We did not see any bugs, living or dead.  
Bottom line, we would have been better off sleeping in our car.  Do not stay here.

You get what you pay for!

The owner of this motel is a nice, hard working guy who probably doesn't see that the standard could be a lot better.

Our room had a clean bathroom and clean towels and bed linen. But it's always the soft furnishings that let a place down and, here, the curtains were ropey and the carpet dirty/stained, plus, I avoided coming into contact with the bedspread as much as possible - you can never trust it's been washed and not just put back on the bed, over the clean sheets!

In the morning, the lady who seemed to be about to clean did not look up to the job or have proper equipment in the shopping trolley she was pushing - certainly no vacuum cleaner for the floors. On the other hand, work to refurbish one of the other rooms was clearly taking place, with carpentry work going on. 

Our room had had a lot of air-freshener spray applied to ensure it didn't smell too much of smoking.

This wasn't one of our best stop-overs.

Trying, but could try harder.

Terrible!  “Nonsmoking” room reeked of smoke, no hangers, no cups, dead bugs, broken window “fixed” with duct tape, dirty.  Empty broken swimming pool, afraid to walk on carpet, live bugs on wall. Overall-disgusting!

What a dump!!!

Avoid it!! Even though the booking was made 4 months before when we arrived, they didn't have our room and they had to give us 2 doubles. The guy at the check in tried to raise the final price by $20, and only after telling him the price at the lower booking stage he immediately agreed to pay the price initially agreed. All this with total distrust of the guy towards us, convinced that we had no booking in the structure. All for a cost, breakfast excluded, disproportionate to the service and rooms offered (as dirty as beds). Find the best!!

Zero in the page

I stayed in this motel during a recent trip to the US. The worst motel of the whole trip. Calling it a bad one is to compliment it. Sad rooms.. pitiful bathroom...Needles is a suffocating place and I knew...I chose this motel for the chance to cool off in the pool and...surprise! The pool is empty and judging from the looks of it not from now on.

Stay out of it!

I have been here for 8 yrs it is a good place to stay at no buges in rooms  and is clean the room I have has a stove in it and it has been remobbled last mouth  the price was good for us we work at this place and clean the rooms and new things is being put in roomes

This was an overnight stop on the way to the Grand Canyon.  A perfect spot.  We needed 4 rooms so thank goodness we booked as it seemed full.  The rooms were all good with standard amenities.  Lovely warm pool and a great spa pool.  We didn'yt realise so it was a happy surprise and lovely after a long days drive.
The breakfast at the Giggling Cactus was excellent and the staff very helpful.

From Arizona to California for Xmas and only looking for inexpensive night's sleep. Going, room OK, just barely, but smelling so strongly of disinfectant could hardly breathe. On return, tried it again, but this time when woke in morning, no water in sink, shower or toilet. Asked manager for another room and told none available. Asked for refund and owner said nope and only offered $10 off $50 price. Talked to other people staying there and told hotel knew about water problems. PLACE IS A RIP OFF DUMP. DO NOT STAY HERE.

What a rip off!

$35 for one night wasn’t bad but it borders on dumpy. There was WiFi but not in our room, no clock, pillows were okay but less than comfortable, blinds didn’t block out the outside lights, no fan in the bathroom (probably because there was a small window), and there were a couple hairs on the edge of the bathtub that came with the room.
None of this overrode the price for one night’s sleep. Would I stay here again? Unsure.
