Got into the hotel fairly late and forgot to let them know we’d be late, and there were no difficulties.
My friend had a pet with her & the hotel management honored the pet fee that I’d seen on the TripAdvisor site vs what their policy stated, which was very kind & helpful. 
My friend had an appointment in Nevada & hotel staff had no qualms in giving us a slightly later checkout date to have time to complete appointment. It all was much appreciated!

Nevada, Mo stay

The room is tiny.  The heater was broken so we froze, sleeping in full clothes.  It felt unsafe as the door locked with what you would basically find in a home restroom. There was a Jerry Springer event next door late at night. No clue. Woman kicked out by her man.
The fire alarm screamed from a short shower. It was dusty and drafty so my grandson had an asthma attack.
It was late and we were tired from driving for 10 hours and got a room at the first place we saw on the phone.  That was a mistake.

How is this place getting good reviews

A perfectly good motel for a very fair price (by today's standards). The room was tiny, it's true, but I only rent a motel to sleep in. The television worked, I'm afraid, and I wasted a couple of hours watching it. The air conditioner worked; everything worked. Don't know about the wifi, as I didn't bring my laptop on this trip. There was a slightly musty smell when I entered, but opening the door long enough to bring my things in was enough to clear it up. No scent of illicit smokers in my room. Older bathroom, but clean towels. The only problem was not the fault of the motel--it was the semi-truck driver who apparently pulled up at the gas station right next door at 4:00 A.M. and left his truck idling for about 40 minutes. These sorts of affordable motels should be encouraged with good reviews.

Cheap, clean, and everything worked

Motel with small rooms crammed with the usual amenities including fridge and microwave. Bathroom was small. OK for a night if you are traveling through. But, you can probably do better spending a little more $$.

Inexpensive, but low quality

There was a smell in the room but they gave me some spray and said they would go thru the room the next day. Was clean but had a cold bathroom floor. The furnace had a white noise to it so was able to sleep while it ran.I have stayed at alot worse. The couple at the front desk we really nice.Was a older hotel but ok

Overnight stay

Nothing grand but was clean and the bed was great!   Was close to QT and was not far from other restaurants or fast food places.  The outside appearance was clean and attractive.  Can't say I noticed a lot of noise considering the motel is right next to the street.
