Stayed here for three nights to visit New River Gorge and Hawks Nest State Park. The location is ideal for New River Gorge, being only a very short drive to the bridge and the Visitors' Center. We were given an accessible room, even though we didn't need it. It was large and the bathroom was a very good size, with a walk in shower. The breakfast was the poorest of all the places we stayed on our road trip - no bread for toast, pastries and donuts were pre-packaged and very processed, although there was fruit and yogurt (only strawberry). However, the staff were very pleasant and there aren't many other options in Fayetteville.

Good location for New River Gorge

We were in a car accident and got stranded at this hotel for two nights with our two dogs. Considering everything we were very lucky to have been near this hotel when the accident happened. Staff was accommodating and the breakfast was good. I would stay here again if in the area.

Two night stay with dogs

You hear the trucks engine brakeing while you in the parking lot and wonder, but the room was quiet anyway. We were on the second floor and at the back and got the quiet room we had requested. Beds were good too, so a very good stay. Breakfast was in the same building, bottom floor, so also pretty convenient. A good find. 

Right near the river gorge and bridge and walking areas. A very good choice. 

Hotel was clean and room was comfortable. Quite location and good for our dog too. Having a restaurant as part of the hotel was nice. Very pleasantly surprised with this place especially for the price. Only problem is that you can miss it from the main road as the sign is barely visible from rt 19. Wouldn't definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

Gourge outing.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It's an older hotel but well maintained and spotless. Being an older hotel that is well maintained added to the ambiance of the setting in New River Gorge and although dated, every modern digital feature was 100%. The staff was excellent and friendly. Wish we could have stayed another day.

Wonderful Stay

This is a pretty standard motel. Have stayed in better and in much far worse. 
This Quality Inn has a good location. The on-site restaurant and bar serves decent enough eats if you don’t feel like driving for dinner. There’s a DQ next door for dessert. 
My room was clean and in relatively decent shape. Mattress was comfortable, which you don’t always get at a roadside motel. Remember, it’s an older motel so it’s dated, especially the bathroom. 
When staying at a motel, I ask myself if to would stay here again or would I look for someplace different. 
If I wanted to be close to Fayetteville, yeah, I’d stay here again.

Does The Job

We checked into two rooms—one smelled like urine, had flies, and the carpeting was damp. The other room smelled like cigarette smoke which person with asthma couldn’t tolerate.  Bathroom was tiny but did have a nice new walk-in shower. We decided leave immediately.

Shame on those who rate this anything more than 2*.  Room carpet was filthy!  Feet/socks were BLACK just walking around room, bring shower flip flops!  There were more flys in room then if had stayed in woods in a tent! Called to ask front desk for fly strip and got no apology or offer to fix and on check out, when told again, was simply seen as regular issue they'd have guy spray for.  Moldy grout in shower.  View 0*-was dumpster.  Parking limited/awful if got in late might be parking far from room.  Ice machine had mold and needed cleaning. It was so bad wouldn't dare use.  Door had gaps at top and along bottom. TV screen was stretched so part of show cut off no matter what setting, and not clear.  Microwave rotation not working so food didnt cook properly.  Give them 1* just because they had a mini frig with separate freezer and bed didnt have bugs like rest of room.  'Grass' was full of petrified poop (owners who fail to pick up to blame, but bag stations might help!  Simply gross and wouldn't walk my dog in it). Checked out early because couldn't stand another day in filth with flys!  Location might be 5 miles to Bridge Walk but that does NOT make this 4* hotel as some reviews imply! 

Never again, filthy! Needs complete overhaul. 

Carpets needed vacuuming and there was mold in the grout in the shower. 
The shower curtain didn't keep the water off the floor.  
Otherwise not a bad overnight motel.
The owner was very nice and there is a good little local pub bar in the complex.
The laundry room could use a cleaning and a washer repair. 

Good over overnight place just needs a little attention.

I needed a handicap room and the maintenance man came to our room to make sure I had enough room for my power wheelchair he was so nice. They also have a great restaurant and bar. Would highly recommend this hotel because it’s reasonable priced and it was very clean.
