There was a mixup in our hotels.com reservation and they were both professional and gracious to fix that error.
We got a single cabin. It wasn't large but it was comfy, quiet and priced budget friendly. It is true that there is no wifi, but the beds are good, the bathroom clean. Water was plentiful and hot when we wanted it. 
At the Dells, most people use their room to sleep. Some base reviews on decor. We do not. Most of our time in a hotel room involves sleep, so decor is not a big issue for us. 
It's knotty pine with art on the walls. The cabins are smallish but comparable to a "normal" hotel room

Great for the budget, quiet and comfy

We stayed in Cain 28. Most cabins are connected so you’ll have a neighbor. Room had musty smell, old wall paper that looked like it had been torn to remodel, but then stopped. Bathroom slightly updated. No WiFi. Dirty pool. Parking difficult.

Just ok

We had to stay at this motel due to a sporting event. The only reason it gets one star is because it had a roof and door. The room smelled like mold and cigarettes combined, the staff was rude and unprofessional, the bed was rock hard, the entire room was filthy. Your shoes will stick to the carpet! The decor in the room looked to be from the 1940’s and very used. The mini refrigerator in the room was filthy and was not cold (it was turned all the way up). The office where you check in looked like a horror movie. If you like coffee in the morning, you have to go to a gas station a few blocks away. Nice location but that’s it.

Never Again

Let me preface by saying I read the reviews and thought I would still give it a chance as we literally just needed a place to sleep. Spend the extra money and get something better. We had a “cabin” with one queen bed. I didn’t realize it was still hooked to another room. The walls were so thin you could hear the people talking and kids screaming. Someone kept turning the door knob of the connected door. I finally said loudly to please stop doing that. After being in the room for 5 minutes, I was going to pack up and either find a new place or just drive home. No wonder the lobby has signs everywhere saying no refunds. I decided to just stick it out and slept about 3 hours. The room had some sort if weird smell. Probably mold as my allergies were bad in the morning. The bathroom shower would not get hot at all and you couldn’t even turn the handle to hot. The towels were the size of hand towels. The bathroom floor had hair and a bug on it. I have to say this is the worst place I have ever stayed at. The only reason for 2 stars is because the front desk worker was really nice. I think if you had an individual cabin it wouldn’t have been so bad, but hearing someone snoring through the walls is not great.

My family reserved one of these rooms on the 17th. 
When everyone arrived. The room wreaked of urine, the beds nor room as a whole matched any of the pictures and the bed skirts were covered in stinky stains. This could have been easily remedied except once the complaint was taken to the front desk. The clerk told my wife and mother I. Law that she was crazy. “ the rooms are fine condition. You are wrong” “you must keep a filthy house” you people just want to ruin businesses” “you’re crazy, the bedskirts have been like this for long time, girls have party. The room is in perfect condition” 
These are exact quotes from the clerk. 
The manager was called and they said the same exact thing like it was a script, when we asked about a refund they got loud and kicked my wife and mother in law out. 
These women are quiet and respectful people. This isn’t some “Karen” situation. Just a horrible place with a staff that knows their business is on the last leg. 
We left. Found somewhere else a mile or so up there road for the same price and the rooms were flawless. The clerk at that hotel said they hear these comments all the time about this hotel. That the staff has issues with “certain types of people”.

The rudest owners and staff ever. A

The worst experience I’ve had.Thin walls and even the door is separating you from other guests.If you wanna sleep before 3am it’s gonna be hard if people next to you(from both sides) still wanna be awake.Bed is old fashioned with springs(makes noise) and there was no hot water in shower.Owner does bnot want to make you satisfied and only cares how to make a money on you.

Bad place to stay

All the Negative reviews are from penny hoarders.  You get what you pay for. No it is not the Hilton by any means, But it is has classic/vintage cabins that families have been appreciating for years who are on a budget. Have been going there for 4 years. It has a campground atmosphere with area for yard games. If you want a Hotel to watch TV on your trip then don't go here. If you want to be outside and close to downtown Dells it perfect..

PERFECT

We stayed just one night on our way home from East Coast. Really liked the place. Huge room with comfortable bed, TV, fridge, microwave. Nice bathroom with walk in closet!!! Grounds are very nice with tons of flowers. I wake up early, so I went out to sit outside with coffee, owners were already out and about taking care of the grounds, pool etc... The only downside for me is that there’s no WiFi. Owner was nice enough to share their own WiFi, but if you need it in the room you are out of luck. That’s the reason for four stars and not five. But we are considering to come back next year for few days.

i normally don't leave reviews but others need warned of this place! We stayed during memorial week...pool was not filled and didn't work! Greeted by a toddler and gma that didn't speak English. Waited for owner was given keys to a one room cottage that we didn't expect. The mosquitoes are so bad in and around the cabin that we had to buy bug spray to spray the outside of the door and inside and on the floors. The lady told us she just cleaned the room but it smelled really musky so we bought room sprays. We were really nervous about the bugs. Checked the bed and between the blankets were TWO SPIDERS!  There was a tick in the bathroom. The tv is from the 1990s but was surpised to have cable. Overall, we just wanted a place to lay our heads because we were planning to sight see the whole time but we hardly got any spleep because of the bugs. The air was either too cold or too hot and it was a window unit with no knob or vent covers.  I do not recommend staying here. We couldn't wait to leave. But you get what you pay for i guess *sigh*

Avoid at all costs! Horrible place

I've stayed at Spring Hill a few times this year and have been very satisfied with it. I always book a single cabin and it is perfect for one or two people. Its definitely dated, but if you don't need anything fancy and want to save money this is the place. I will be back if for sure if I am in need of a cheap place to spend the night!
