The hotel was clean and fully functional comparing to price levels. The staff was friendly and cared for the laundry and transportation to airport for us. The staff speaks good English, extrapoints for that.

Nice small hotel

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night and I only have one negative thing to say. They had building work going on next door and it was so loud and started so early in the morning it woke us up !!! Apart from that... Location 10/10, WiFi 10/10, Staff 10/10, Bed 10/10, Shower 10/10 

Perfect for a Short Stay 

We only stayed one night in Nha Trang so it was perfect.. cheap but cheerful and with everything you need.. kettle, fridge, en suite bathroom and comfy beds. The lovely helpful receptionist, who spoke good English, gave us an upgrade and lots of advice for our continuing journey, too. Thank you Tea!! x

good value for location

The reported standard as advertised as 8.1 is very misleading and I would rate it as 4/10.. I have stayed in many hotels in Vietnam and in Nha Trang from 5 star to 2 star. I was not impressed by this hotel for several reasons. The rooms are old and the bed like a rock. One of the towels was dirty. The bathroom floor was slippery. There were no tissues supplied and the Internet computer at the front desk was not working. Also the Laundry I had done came back in a very poor condition.After 2 nights I moved to another hotel where I had stayed previously called The Nice Swan which was actually cheaper on the Internet and the rooms much nicer.
Because of my complaints the Manager of the Ha Thu Hotel reduced my room rate to 350,000 Dong a day wishfully hoping I would not give them a bad report.
The Management of this hotel have some work to do to improve their standards.

HOTEL IS NOT UP TO REPORTED STANDARD

Hotel is situated in the end of a small alley along the touristy beach front street with lots of tourists oriented outlets. room is reasonable clean an spacious, hotel staff are helpful and friendly, reception staff are able to speak english too..the hotel itself has nothing fancy or great about but is value for money and good location..a good place for a good night rest...

Ha Thu in the alley..

Booked this on a whim and has been absolutely brilliant. The room has the best air con,clean and comfortable bed, ensuite and we even had an ocean view! The value for money at this hotel is beyond excellent for what you get. We booked motorbikes through the hotel to go to the waterfalls 27K away And they booked our transport to HCMC. The staff are very friendly and speak good English. Would recommend this as it is across the road from the main beach and you're in walking distance to the local markets and restaurants aswell. Thank you for a lovely stay!!

Excellent budget stay accomodation, 30 seconds from main beach and hustle and bustle.

Arriving at 5:00am at the hotel, we were allowed to take an early check-in room with an extra 100,000 dong. Cafard in the bathroom and boff room. Around 11:00 we were brought to our room. Spider cloths on the wall, handprint on the walls (glaucus) hair in the shower,... briefly Not top at all for 16€... That said, after explaining the condition of the room at the reception (which are also very useful), they took us to a more spacious room and this time much better! :)

It's not bad.

Decent sized rooms at a very good price, air con, comfy beds, clean and functional private bathrooms.

The location is great, just one minute walk to the beach and many restaurants nearby.

The staff are friendly and helpful and can organise tickets for tours, trips and busses to other cities.

Great location, great value.

Sea view from upper floor, room cleaned and fresh towels daily, the room has a fridge, a/c and a kettle, good shower.  No restaurant or public area, apart from the lobby Although pretty much in the city centre it retained a calmness. Surrounded by all the tourist bars, restarants etc. Just across the (very busy)  road to a lovely beach. Good value

Close to beach, quiet spot in busy city

We stayed for 2 nights in the room with small balcony and ocean view, unfortunately little noisy in the night (some night clb next door). The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was basic but clean. It's in a great location right next to the beach and the town centre.
