I knew the resort was young and there was still a lot to do, but we left now, didn't start waiting and didn't regret a minute, picked our cheap three-star hotel. At the moment  it's a good option, as we found a young resort  new buildings, hotel staff untired of tours and look back at us very carefully. Yes, we don't know the language, but in our salty age  we're getting a lot of help from the bus operator, and everyone can understand each other here!  There's only a few buses on this ferry tomorrow that can't get around the street!  We've got a few buses on the way down here!  We've got

Booked off of Expedia as it looked amazing in the pictures and was listed at a decent price. First of all, location is horrible. It is not the destination maps says its at so our cab had a hard time finding it as it is not in Phan Thiet at all. The resort was chained and locked when we got there and in a short amount of time we learned we were the only people there. The whole place was very warm, A/C hadn't been on before we got there likely because it seemed closed down. The entire place looked like it was in construction, dust near walls, no water in pool, etc. The kitchenette also consisted of empty cupboards and a stovetop that didn't work. We asked the woman running the place to book us a bus from there to Nha Trang, however after a long a painful back and forth between us->her->her husband->and the bus company she advised us the only bus that runs leaves at noon the next day and takes 8 hours. After a minute on Google we found that to be false. We had asked for a cab so that we could go get supper somewhere as there is no food at this "resort" at all. The woman said no and offered us hard boiled eggs and beef. Finally we had enough and wanted to leave knowing since we booked through Expedia that we would not get our money back. We packed our bags up and tried to leave but the lady and her husband refused to unlock the gate. We literally threw our bags over the gate and climbed over in a pouring rain knowing it was at least a half hour walk into Phan Thiet. A cab driver passing felt bad for us and pulled over though he already had people and took us to Mui Ne. We stayed at Mui Ne Backpackers Village for a fraction of the price and it was an absolute safe haven. The kind staff booked us the first available bus out to Nha Trang the next morning. We happily chose losing our money for the booking and a long walk in the pouring rain over trying to deal with this place. Highly advise staying away.

It's almost impossible to find a hotel on your own - the maps and the navigator indicate the left address.

Mixed feelings

The hotel is good, it matches the beautiful pictures of Agod, but it's very difficult to find - the address doesn't match. You're right on the coastal road - don't miss the sign. The good swimming pool and its beach area are completely fenced. The rooms are large and well equipped. But there are no breakfasts.
