Tonight, the owner of the hotel, Tony, offered to choose a few rooms.We picked a room with a view of the sea on the 5th floor.A modern apartment with a modern kitchen equipped with all sorts of modern designs.A luxurious bed with an orthopedic mattress on a glass terrace overlooking the beach and the sea.In the bathroom there is even a washing machine.The hot water was always there.In the morning - a Swedish table in Albanian style.

Flight from Kiev lasted 2.5 hours.

Great acquaintance with the Adriatic.

I don't understand why all the reviews are so crooked! This hotel is a beachfront restaurant that's not ready for tourists at all! The tiles as left by past tourists were still standing. Breakfast is the same! The hotel is terrible! No ice cream, no beer... no toilet, no soap.

No Swedish table, no room is cleaned!

First of all I'd like to mention that is was our first visit to Albania,we knew nothing about this country before, that's why thoroughly looked for a hotel. We decided to choose Espana and we admired our stay there. Our room was on the upper floor, it was stylish and comfortable (two beds, a safe, a fridge, a kettle, a TV, a conditioner) Also a balcony. And the sea - you can just sit on the bed and watch the waves. I should mention that you can get in with the card (not a key) and this system is rather convenient. The beach is near, you can use two seabeds and an umbrella for free. The restaurant in the hotel is great, everything was tasty and for reasonable price.
But the main thing is the Atmosphere:) The owner Tony tried to do his best we felt comfortably. He even let us stay longer than 11am for free cause our flight was in the evening. All possible and impossible questions we resolved with Mentor, he really helped us. Mendy, you're Incredible:) We fell in love:)
Both Tony and Mentor are excellent English speakers and communicators. Due to my knowledge of English we had no difficulties in understanding each other.
We'd like to come back one day and without any doubt recommend Espana!

Our Albanian vacation

I've had two large rooms on the second floor with a freshly renovated view of the sea. One of them had a large balcony - a great plus for relaxation and meditation in the morning and evening. Between the hotel and the beach there is a little bit of a greenery that creates a shade for the restaurant terrace and makes the smells in the streets unusual until tomorrow. However, with the air of the hotel, the staff of the hotel is not satisfied. I've ordered a couple of questions from the official, which I'm not satisfied with.

It's a great side view from the balcony to the sea. The first line was important to me, a sandy beach.

I'm very happy with the rest at this hotel. I chose the reviews, I didn't waste time. Thank you very much to the people who write honest reviews. The sea is nearby, by the way! The kitchen is wonderful, we ate at the local cafe. Breakfast is full and tasty. The room is very spacious. Two rooms. Our kitchen. We got exactly what we wanted. 7 days of beach relaxation. The sea is warm, no surprises in the form of meduses. The entrance is warm, for children in general. The weather is very comfortable. We are happy. I hope to return to this wonderful place. Thank you to the hotel owner and staff, you are super!!! With respect from Belarus.

Family vacation in July 2020.

This is the second year that we decided to spend our holidays in this facility. All the staff are always kind and available, to meet the needs of the client. We found a fabulous room with dream sea view. Our suite a 4⭐ with private bathroom satisfies all comforts. With the room included also two umbrella drawers, which Mentor every day made sure was the station we liked. Breakfast and dinner were included in the price as a half-pension formula, but we also had the pleasure of eating lunch because even if it is not our Italian cuisine we always appreciated the flavors. Also, you feel like family. For 2 years we celebrated my husband's birthday and it was always a nice surprise organized by the responsible, precise and affectionate person that he wanted to spend 10 days on vacation, and we will definitely return there in the future.

Relax assured

We arrived in Tirana about 11:10pm and we’d pre-arranged private transfers to/from the hotel, the journey was about 40mins to the hotel (and it was the same back to the airport at 9:30am), the guy at reception though informed me that they could have arranged an airport pick up for €25
Check-In was quick and pleasant, the gentleman at reception (who is actually one of the sons of the family business) was so nice, polite and very welcoming, and he also informed us of everything like Wi-Fi password, where everything was in the hotel, the Wi-Fi code (the Wi-Fi connection though can be a bit sporadic in connecting), he informed us where the breakfast / dinner was (and the dining times of meals – 8am – 10am & 8pm-10pm).
We were touring most mornings, so we didn’t really avail of the breakfast over the 8 days, but dinner was always beautiful, which consisted of Pasta, Fish and meat dishes along with a selection of salads n’ fries.
As you entered the room to the right was a spacious very clean bathroom with a few complimentary toiletries, x2 towels in the drawer (housekeeping only come every 3 days meaning the towels are only replaces every 3 days, but we asked for clean ones every second day and that wasn’t a problem), there was x2 bathrobes and a lovely rain shower.
Then you entered into the bedroom which had a work station, Fridge (but no tea / coffee making facilities), a flat screen TV (with multiple English speaking channels – CNN, BBC News & Movies).
The bedroom was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable, it also had the additional pillows we’d requested prior to our arrival, there was a wardrobe (with only about 6 hangers though), but plenty of storage room and there’s an electronic safe as well as air-conditioning.
The balcony was huge, it was amazing! It’s spacious and the view was spectacular, it was fantastic watching the sunset at night before dinner in the hotel.
The hotel isn’t located in the ‘city centre of Durres’ but it’s only about a 15/20 minute drive in a taxi to Durres town and about 40mins drive into Tirana, there’s also a bus station about 20 mins from the hotel (take a left when you leave the hotel and it’s a straight road down to it), but there’s also a bus stop outside the hotel, but the bus is usually full by this point from what we saw (we didn’t actually catch the bus though), for us we booked this hotel as the location of it being on the beach was perfect!
There’s numerous mini markets up and down the promenade and many are 24 hours.
All the family who run this hotel were so nice, friendly and it was always a pleasure talking with them all, (the mother is sooooo nice who was over from the US helping out during the peak season), even the employees that I spoke to there aren’t ‘the family’ were just as pleasant to talk too.
I would recommend this hotel, and I would happily stay here again when I return to Albania

We stayed only one night unfortunately but this hotel filled all the boxes of the expected benefits perfect English welcome and great kindness from the staff we just found the apartment a bit cold when we arrived (February) but the climate did its job gently kitchen well equipped and laundry in each room
