Magical place! It brings the feeling of the beach house dream that many of us long to feel again and you can rarely find in the touristy places full of big tall buildings/ hotels. Rooms are spacious enough for the beddings and very aesthetic, including the bathroom. Each room is like a small house with its own balcony with sea view. Cleanliness is top (they clean it every day and bring white clean towels). The staff was so kind to me and children. Highly recommend it! 

Magical place!

The best restaurant in the area. 

Simple, but with a great view and amazing food. All fruits and vegetables are farm to table and taste amazing. 
Service 10/10; really kind and always responsive. They also offered us a complementary fruit salad at the end. 

Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Amazing food, service and view.

Beautiful location right on the beach. The ocean super clear when we visited.  

The bungalow’s was clean and the staff very friendly. 

I didn’t see any rooster’s so maybe the owner has moved them. 

I would love to come back sometime.

Beautiful location

We had the most horrible lunch there. I ordered sea food mix and green salad. The waiter told me that they dont have green salad, they have only rucola which was more expencive. But on the other table, they served green salad. Instead of sea food they gave me bunch of something drowned in oil. Meanwhile at the background albanian turbo folk was playing and chicken birds were walking between the tables. And at the end, waiter wanted to charge us additional fee for the sheets,he told us it was a rule wtf?!?! This place is far from  a resort. And the prices are higher than the other places, where you will eat decent and good. Simply do not go in Ambel

Terrible service and awfull lunch

1. rude staff, they dry the sweat with their hands. 2. 1 hour and 30 minutes to get 3 plates. 3. if you are in a group and you are looking for different types of pasta you get the answer: you can't order the same pasta all. 4. very poor cleanliness 5. very high prices.

Restaurant to Avoid

We eat diner two days before,we stayed all the day long at the beach infront of the hotel,which is the most beatiful one,less people and less sunbeds, even en september they cost 1.000 leke . For diner the waiter said to us that we cant find every thing we want, because the season is at the end... we agree to eat what they can make ... the pasta was terrible ,really,they smell...:-( . And was over priced for such a small quantity if food ...dont go there to eat , is better to find a fast food then this kinde of restaurant

Horribel diner,dont go to eat there

Location is amazing. Food is quite poor and not enough for the premium price 130€ a night. The owner who I dealt with is quite arrogant and not professional. Accomodation is quite run down. Arrived there at around 10PM after had spoken over the phone and negotiated the price for 110€ a night for three adults and two infants. Asked to pay upfront and later were asked to fork out 20€ more because my son who is 20 months old was not considered as an infant. Did not argue paid. Accomodation is not premium and quite run down. Toilet had a bidded inside the shower cubicle and mould everywhere. A portable air con was too small for the room so it went on and on all night . Next morning had breakfast which was literally an egg or omlete with a sausage and two slices of bread, or you could have a pancake (crêpe) as in the photo that's all. I was asked to empty the room by 10AM...so 12 hours 130€ for a hoot. I would not recommend...

Unprofessional rundown & over priced

I recently spent 4 nights at this resort at 100 Euros per night to spend a short break with my friends who had booked into the lodges next door (fully booked and couldn't accommodate me). Although clean, they were very simple chalets. I went to meet my friends for breakfast on the third day and on returning to my chalet I noticed that one of the staff were carrying my suitcase, laptop bag, toilet bag, etc. He couldn't speak English very well and told me I was having a room change. On further investigation I was told that 4 single guys had booked so they had decided to move me (without my knowledge) to a different chalet containing a double bed. A member of staff had entered my chalet and packed my belongings and was transferring me without informing me beforehand.... disgraceful!!!!!
No apology was given just a shrug of the shoulders. Would NOT recommend staying here under any circumstances!

Too expensive! Incompetent staff

Chelet discreet but €100 per night with a 1-star breakfast and 2-star room is a lot.Clean staff and especially Alban very nice kid from the beach.Sad because you have a lot of potential seeing the wonderful place.Foreign tourists with these prices will not come back.It's the same for All restaurants a snack cost reduced to €40 per kg as in Italy even more.If you go to northern Albania max €10.

Too expensive for the service I offer!!!!

We stayed 4 nights, for 100 eur/night. The ratio price/quality is definitely not there! First of all, as a welcome treat, we have been asked to fully pay the stay and they kept our passport for 4 nights.
We then arrived in the room and noticed that the aircon was not working (with a temperature of 35-38 °C outside in August, it would have been a must! The person who attended us did not do anything to sort the problem...We just had a fan. Anyway my partner and I felt that we were on holiday and that we would try not to complain too much about it... 
After 2 days being in the heat, we came to see the owner of the hotel who pretended he did not understand us. He was arrogant, laught, and he just said "it's Albania" to comfort us... We have been traveling a lot in different parts of the World and for 100 eur per night, you expect a much better service, even in Albania!
The worth was that they came to see us during the stay in the chalet to ask us to turn off the unique fan we had, pretending it was not normal. 
Another day, I was on the beach in front of the hotel (the only good thing of the stay) and one of the waiter came to me and asked me to give him the towel that I was using! I have mentioned that it was their beach and that I would not steal it. He just said that I was wrong and asked me again to give it to him... 
Another bad point was that the water in the room was salty and there is no private parking. The Wifi was not working in the room.
We generally do not put bad comments on social networks and try to be comprehensive with some defaults we can see. However, this time, we felt that it was important to prevent other tourists to fall in this very bad trap: no service, no smile and the feeling of not being welcoming well.
