It's a super busy hostel, there are always people everywhere, you have to be prepared for that.The showers are very good, the bathrooms are not very spacious but they serve their function, the same with the beds, to stay for a couple of days is fine.The music is a little loud.

It's all good.

The staff are unprofessional in their care, arrogant and arrogant. Dirty place, lack of maintenance. A terrible place to stay in Purmamarca. I recommend not going to this hotel.

Psimo is the name of the game.

My experience was in March 2020, we were a group of 11 people, we occupied two shared rooms, because we were not grouped into one, the best of the hostel the location!!! The worst... that we were not allowed to be in the dining room/patio/terrace after 0:00:00 am, nor did they sell frulla!!!!!

Excellent location, they've got their hat on.

We were 3 people, we were staying in a room of 10, although we actually paid one less person but that was the least. The bathroom was really a disgusting place, the salt water smelled ugly, it was all dirty in very bad condition. The beds are stackable to the ceiling, all moving at a dangerous level. There was a guy who worked there for a while (I think he was working in exchange for the accommodation) and he was very kind at all times (it was a rubio, petiso).

The hostel is in poor condition of cleanliness. The dirty bathrooms, with hair in the bathroom and the toilet paper blasted up. There was no toilet paper or soap either. The showers smelled of piss and dirty. The shared room had bunk beds with sheets and sheets that looked used. We tried to move to a private room (we were in one of 10), and were told that we would pay the difference. They quickly told us that they were confused that it was busy and that we should move. The sayings that we preferred irons that would give us the total value of what we were told answered no because he had forgotten to unlock the beds. No, it was not our fault.

 Holidays

We arrived in Humahuaca with high expectations, however, at this hostel they made none of that possible. The hostel was disgusting in terms of cleanliness and order. The bathrooms were all dirty: the paper-bottled heaps, no toilet paper, the piss-smelling showers, and a chef who suddenly started cutting his friends' hair with the machine, and of course all the hair was left on the floor and washing. The water came out cold and not to mention the other rooms: three-story beds that were about to fall apart, all stretched out since the rooms were small and luckily we could get a lot of wifi on our backs.

The Nefasto hostel is located in Nefasto.

I stayed in this place for one (luckily) night. I took a shared room of 10 beds and honestly, I didn't think it was so bad. He slept in nasty places and it is no doubt that he takes away the first place. The room/covacha is on the first floor, having to climb a rather steep staircase. Already inside the room, I find it had a floor and wooden walls, with a roof of plastic sheet and telgopor. The day I arrived, the wind blew in a tremendous way, so inside the room, if you were to sleep, it would be quite comfortable (since you landed through the unions of the woods).

A memorable experience (el in, te lo debo)

I was there with my family 6 people, they promised to cancel my payment with a dog card no fue asi, they really made me feel very uncomfortable. NO RECOMMENDABLE.

They seem to be very kind and gentle.

Giramundo felt like a typical hostel with painted murals and colourful walls and a cool roof terrace. It was fairly clean and showers hot when we used them. Staff were helpful, the girl who checked us in didn’t seem to speak English so be aware you may need Spanish. Beds were comfortable with plenty of blankets but room was cold with no storage space / space to hang stuff and only one plug socket by the door. Could do with a little more thought eg. helpful touches like hooks to hang towels and coats etc. Pillows were also extremely lumpy. The included breakfast was tiny/ not great, some cut up fruit and tiny slices of bread - probably the most disappointing breakfast we have had in South America. Had music playing most of the day which was loud and not to our taste, which is fine, but also some of it quite derogatory to women and made relaxing quite difficult. It also went on fairly late so if you aren’t looking for a party perhaps go elsewhere. Small kitchen with lots of people trying to cook in the evening. Not the worst place I’ve stayed but wouldn’t rush back.

A mixed bag

A very beautiful youth hostel, perfectly decorated. Well equipped with a full kitchen. The bedrooms are a little small but convenient. It's a little cold because they look out on a common space outside but with the blankets provided that's enough. They offer excursions to El Hornocal and the sites in the area at competitive rates. The reception is warm and many explanations about visits to the area have been given. A nice time spent in this hostel.
