Only wonderful if u homeless and desperate prior to staying here. No bed bugs and most staff nice owner less so. Tip is avoid and find somewhere else unless yr cheap boss pays this for his trades staff

Avoid here like the plague

For the price, location and level of comfort my friends and I are happy to rate this motel a 5. We booked two twin rooms and we were offered upstairs or down stairs, close together. The manager was very obliging, friendly and helpful. We chose this motel for its proximity to the Wests Ashfield Leagues Club - only a 300m walk away so it was super convenient. It’s also close to shops and great value eating and night life. Parking was easy. Everything in the room worked fine and the beds were perfectly comfortable.

A comfortable, affordable and friendly stay

This motor Inn is located nicely 5-7 minute walk to the station, the staff were great.
This is an ideal hotel for the worker  or for an overnight stay. 
The local club is only about a 3 minute walk . 
Now for the room.
It is deal for that overnight stay or for the worker , the bathroom too small , the toilet  I had to be careful with the glass shelf over the basin . If your a big person you will find it hard to sit on the toilet . The shower recess good plenty of room . 
The toilet door doesn’t close properly , very little if none cutlery, no plates , no bowls for soup or to have breakfast , no tea towels to dry you cutlery . No bread plate no large plates for big meals , salt and pepper, only 2 glasses .

To use the kettle u have to place it on top of the microwave ( dangers) . No extra blanket for those extra cold nights.
Would I recommend this accommodation for a family NO

Nice place for the worker.

Budget motel with the basics. Convenient place to stay in Ashfield area and close to train and buses; also shops and eateries. Okay for a short stay for business or convenience. No extras, no views, etc. Clean room. Floral-like room 'freshener' a bit strong.

The basics

It’s basic but has everything you need including lots of drawers and storage space and microwave. Not spotlessly clean but far from dirty. Nothing special or exciting but perfectly liveable. 

The only issue is maintenance like toilet leaking and bed frame wobbley and even the soap holder fell off the wall. 

The two male staff members were always so friendly and welcoming but the lady working on the Saturday had a cold personality and she would not lend me 10cents so I could use the laundry without having to walk all the way to the bank to get more coins even tho I had 2 more nights already paid for and would have gave them the 10cents back the next day.

Good enough but maintenance issues

My partner and I stayed in room 34 on Saturday night to attend a concert. We chose this Motor Inn due to its excellent location and cheap price as we were only looking for a place to sleep for several hours. Check in was fast and friendly and there was more than enough parking spaces. On entering the room there was a strong musty smell although they had the window open. I found the cleanliness of the room very poor. The room was basic with a bar fridge, queen bed and tv which was all fine. I would stay here again if the rooms were actually cleaned better, but only then. 

Very Basic. Needs a clean

Closer to the Railway Station, walking distance to Ashfield Town, gaming Club & few Restaurants. I have stayed twice & value for money. I had to stay closer to Tamil Radio station & very convenient place. Wil stay again.

Budget type Motel.

One of the more convenient places to stay in Sydney without the over priced options of the CBD. Clean, comfortable, wifi, TV, older style air con (a bit noisy) and a fridge. Staff are available until around 11pm and there is a vending machine.

Book ahead

Don't expect too much. Very basic room. Slightly musty.  For the price, it is adequate for a one or two night stay. 5 min walk to Wests Ashfield Leagues club. 10 min walk to 7 Eleven. 10 - 15 min walk to train station. 

Short stay.

Stayed here for 4 days during a stay in Sydney. It was convenient for us to visit one of our children and granddaughter. We were very happy with the accommodation. The rooms aren't overly large, but you only sleep there. The beds were very comfortable and the motel overall was extremely quiet considering it is situated on Liverpool Road. Just a short walk from Wests, so dinner wasn't a problem. There was a microwave which we like so we can heat our porridge in the morning. Also a toaster if required. It's in the cheaper range of accommodation, but good value.
