Breakfast was at almost 12:00 - a joke. Almost everything was empty, the coffee, if you will call it that, was almost inedible, milk flowed out.

Unfortunately, there is no recommendation.

I've been to the inn for lunch, and I can only recommend it. Very nice service, delicious food, floor-to-ceiling map. Price performance ratio absolutely okay.

I can not fault the hotel.family run.i have stayed many time over the years.
Everyone is so friendly and helpful.the host Mr Fischer well spoken even drives me and my friends to other bars and even joins in with our conversation

Hungry tony

When asking about a breakfast place, the owner of our camping site suggested we go to Hotel Fischer. We arrived a few minutes before 10 and asked the lady at the reception (who looked like the owner BTW) about the possibility to have breakfast. She informed us that breakfast is served only until 10, but without any further hassle looked at the staff, ordered them to prepare tables for us and told them to make sure the buffet is fully replenished. We honestly didn't know that breakfast ended at 10 and the lady could have simply rejected us. Instead, she made us feel welcome and let us enjoy the great buffet (8.50 EUR per adult, 4 EUR per kid).

Great customer service

A nice family run hotel in Bad Waltersdorf. Comfortable and clean with a good breakfast. No complaints at all. The owner was helpful and friendly. Certainly a good place to stay if in the area and value for money.

Nice family run hotel

In the center of Bad Walterdorf - the Fischer Hotel, with restaurant. Ambiente seems to have stayed in the 70s, as well as the menu. No surprises, nothing creative. The ordered barbecue for 2 can be fast, huge portions, then quality surprised - it was good. Service OK, price/performance impeccable.

Dinner in Waltersdorf

I stopped for one night because I heard about the hospitality one might find at this place. And so it is!
The hotel is a family business and the owners are very kind and helpful. What impressed me the most was the teddy bear I found in the room...being a single room, he was there "to keep me company" . I think it's a delicate touch.
The Spa-Heiltherme is close by..but be careful and leave in time if you want to have a late dinner-kitchen usually closes at 10PM at all restaurants. 
The hotel is very nice, with its rustic decorations you'll find it as a warm place. Breakfast was very generous...all types of food. I would recommend it to everyone looking for a short stay,for a quiet relaxing time. 

A nice experience 

For us, it was the perfect stop on our annual trip back to Carinthia. Very friendly, family-run business, attractive lobby, well-developed rooms. Already by the lake, we were looking forward to the meal in Waltersdorf. This time there was liver noodle soup, spaghetti with chicken and a steamy marlin patch. Not to mention the good beer from Upper Styria. Of course, there are plenty of specialties on the map, but next time we'll be up for a lift. We're already looking forward to...

Ideal stop

I stayed with my girlfriend in this hotel for three nights, on the occasion of the summer retreat from Rome, a very strategic location, on the main square. With a 10-15 minute walk you can easily reach the training grounds and the hotel where the players were staying. room quite large that looked directly over the square, good cleaning nothing. the owner is always kind and available. the hotel only has overnight accommodation and breakfast, lunch and dinner are paid separately.

the strategic position

Me and my wife spent 2 nights in this hotel and we were very pleased with our stay. This is a family owned hotel right in the center of the village (next to the tourist information office and town city hall). It is only 5 min away from Heiltherme SPA by car. 

We booked a special offer that included 2 nights, breakfast, half-pension and tickets to access the Heiltherme SPA 2 days for two people. The total cost was 260 euros.

BREAKFAST
The breakfast is quite good offering fruits, juice, different jams, different types of ham, cheese, pates, coffee and milk. I only missed having some hot offerings for breakfast but the rest was very good!

MEALS
The meals included in the price were very good and included:
- a starter
- a soup
- salad buffet (different kinds of salads and vegetables)
- main dish (4 choices of meat and fish) which alwasys were very tasty
- a dessert
I always was FULL after eating so much food
(drinks are not included in the price)

SERVICE
The hotel manager is very nice and always informative. Besides, the hotel has a free parking private space and a free WIFI. The offered tickets for the Heiltherme SPA were OK and we had a wonderful 2-days SPA experience

INSTALLATIONS
Thisl is not a modern, cool, brand new hotel but it is very charming with a rustic decoration. It is a 3 star hotel and therefore you should not expect huge rooms with wonderful big bathrooms. However, the rooms are clean and, although the decoration might seem a bit outdated, the hotel has in my opinion a charming atmosphere and it is well conservated.

In summary, if you´re looking for a modern, cool  hotel with huge rooms, this is not the place for you, but if you´re looking for a good value hotel with good service and good meals this is what this hotel is. I will go again to this hotel if I have to stay in Bad Waltersdorf.
