A truly wonderful hotel-resort. 
We went for a hiking and spa weekend, and it was a perfect choice for both. I liked the variety of swimming pools. There are many places to relax around the wellness area, regardless of the season. Overall, an attractive and contemporary design that feels classic enough to fit in well with its natural surroundings. Moreover, it incorporates those natural elements. And we also noticed the consistent use of the Pierer branding, which was simple, modest, and suited the resort and its location quite well. 

There is direct access to great hiking all around. We took the route up to Hochlantsch and the Schüsserlbrunn (highly recommended) - but there are several routes worthy of a return. 

The room we had at Hotel Pierer was spacious, clean, and very nice, with a great, private balcony. The mattress was not as firm as my liking - I would say it is far from the special, luxurious feel that the room or rest of the hotel has, but it was ok.

The restaurant was excellent. Fantastic breakfast spread, in particular. Also a good place to try wines from the region.

We really liked the staff. Very helpful and friendly.

While the location is splendid, it takes some work to get there. The drive from the north - up, down, and up again with switchbacks - is a great journey, but do it in daytime hours, and allow plenty of time. 

Hotel Pierer was totally worth it, and we look forward to returning!

Fantastic weekend getaway!

Comfortable rooms, delicious food, super friendly staff. The beds in the quiet area are very comfortable and through the curtains etc. you also have privacy. The bath bag is super practical and you can use the spa area before and after you leave.

Staying here was a dream!

The Pierer House impresses with the fantastic location / atmosphere / furnishings and cleanliness!!!! Four stars awarded for two stars

WOW - personally so friendly and casual, beautifully decorated with taste. The restaurant area was very quiet. The food was crazy. We felt very comfortable - we're back.

Restaurant visit

We stayed for 2 nights again for the second time in the pier. You can easily feel comfortable. The wellness offer combined with the cuisine and nature around the hotel is unique and we will visit often! The walks from the hotel are suitable for all ages.

Rest in peace!

From start to finish, beautifully decorated, very tasteful, I would say boutique hotel character. You can actually keep it short: there were three couples with no points of criticism for us.

Unforgettable 3 nights in a wonderful romantic room with your own sauna! You experience your vacation as it should be. The area gets you runter when you get out of the car and you're home! Culinary it was a high pleasure and even the snow from above was there too 😉 All points high three!!

A weekend with friends. Very nice hotel, great materials and colors, all premium, although only 4 stars plus. Restaurant including breakfast buffet, the great milk bar are excellent, from the selection to the preparation to the service. The spa/wellness area and pool area are wonderful. Also the size of the hotel with just under 190 beds is well measured. The trip down to the Christmas market, which is also very beautifully made and is located by the lake, pleases heart and soul. For me the Pierer Resort is one of the best I have ever visited and I wanted to go back to many top hotels around the world as soon as possible.

Top, as good as it gets!

For me, it was an experience of how kind all the staff at the hotel were. It was not about being friendly but really serious. Everyone from the maid to the sauna master - everyone was happy at work. It was a real experience for me, besides great food and wellness enjoyment.

Beautiful room with comfort factor, very friendly and nice staff, food selection even for vegetarians, very large wellness area, walls between the beds in the restrooms. Fitness and yoga program, pleasant times and very beautifully designed.
