There are two hostels of the same chain in Vienna.Having been in both and considering the average prices of Vienna, they are undoubtedly an excellent option (average price 12 euros, room for 6 people).From the historic center of Vienna it is about 20 minutes walk, although it has a metro station 3 minutes.Without a doubt, the best option in Vienna!

A brilliant option in Vienna.

We spent two nights at Wombats Hostel in Mariahelferstraße during our class trip in July. I was in the room with three other girls. We were on the fourth floor. Positive bar in the house, lounge, free W-Lan NEGATIVE - Outside it was very hot and because we were in the attic the room got very hot. We had a fan but it was full of dust. It was probably never cleaned. - The floor was also very dirty and dirty. - Cheap floors that are very shaky - you have to get your own beds and that's ok. for the price but on the mattresses there were a lot of hairs, brushes and even pieces of stuff. Class trip, two nights in Wombats and not satisfied.

The hotel was quiet, cozy, close to the metro. Among the advantages: 1) in the six-seat room there is a closet with locks for storing personal items; 2) shower in the room; 3) give a coupon for a stream; 4) clean kitchen where to block your food; 5) near many shops.

Hostel didn 't disappoint.

Good hostel, room its big enough and when we are here its pretty quiet also, wifi works well and crew its friendly.. I meet here several really nice persons all over world thats why its me nice place. Sure can stay other time also.

Pretty..

The Northern European tradition in hostels is perfectly represented in the Wombats. Clean laundry, welcoming drinks and warmth. Spacious and clean rooms and a lot of interesting people in the neighborhood.

Cheap and very handy

We can't ask too much of a hostel. The room with a private bathroom could have been cleaner so much that on the floor we still found the dirt left by previous guests. Fires and plumes clean but somewhat sloppy and cracked, they would have to be replaced. Very warm environments. Fun atmosphere of the bar and a paid breakfast not bad at all.

It's still a hostel.

I gave 5 balls to spend 248 euros in 4 nights in Vienna in December and I find it unbeatable. The four-bedroom with indoor bathroom was clean and warm, the beds comfortable even in a castle. The continental breakfast at 3.90 is highly recommended.

Excellent value for money.

For the second time I stay in one of these facilities; the prices are very good. Although the rooms are a little small, they are very cozy, clean and bright. Bathroom is also comfortable and clean with towels available. International breakfast (paid...) abundant and genuine, courteous and hospitable staff. And surprise... good for free drink at the bar at the check-in ;) Highly recommended.

Great and welcoming.

We stayed 3 nights and we had a good time! The rooms are a little small, but clean and with the bathroom inside. The area is quiet, near the subway for those who can only walk, while it takes about 40 minutes to walk to the center. Inside the structure there is a bar where you are offered the first 2 drinks, also nearby there is the kitchen area where you can cook or drink tea for free. The buffet breakfast is separate, costs 3.90 euros per person but it's worth it: marmalade, chocolate. syrup and not, teas, 3 types of fruit, salad, ham and cheese, juice and machine to make a cappuccino, chocolate and coffee, to all the other guys very much.

That's very nice.

I stayed there for 4 nights from 6 to 10 June. Very clean room, cleaned every day. Super friendly and personal atmosphere welcoming. The hostel is a little further from Westbanhof than its neighbour Wombats the Base, where you can take the U3 and U6 subway, but otherwise there is the Schweglerstrasse stop of U3 not far away;)
