The room had a sinister railing on the wall and there was a lot of noise coming from the outside at night.The retreat was reverse, that is, it had the hole in front and when you do your needs the excrement is clearly visible above the white part, not in the water.

No recommendation for large rooms.

It's good and close to the train station. It's a good breakfast. You can go out and walk and take the subway to other stations. It's got bars nearby and right down the street you can take the train to another station where trains leave for Venice too.

Good hotel near the train station

Great place to get the 1960's atmosphere in Vienna, the lift to the Rooms is old stye, Rooms are vast with a very comfortable Bed.
Breakfast is cold continental and good only thing the place lacks is a civilised bar/coffee facility but with a lovely restaurant next door who really needs one.

Would highly recommend if you're going to Vienna stay here and soak up the atmosphere. 

Out of a 'James Bond' Movie

It's an excellent old-fashioned hotel! With iron brakes on the keys, a lost wooden stand with a pile of rubble and a veteran elevator. Probably its best days were over when the main station was moved to the South. Tram stops at Hauptbanhof right under the windows.

Located opposite the main bus and train station, the hotel is very old and worn down... the elevator was quite freaky and fun! Hostels would be a better option at the same rates, but if hostels are not an option for you, then this is a decent option for the price u pasy

Basic property if u want to access the main train or bus station

Very convenient hotel as a location, clean, nice staff but not at night...though traceable by phone. Single sin needs renovation, the building is very old and in anticipation of rain we found water sinks.

Week in September

The hotel is well situated, although the Westbahnhof in Vienna is not particularly safe at night. There was constant police activity, which was also heard through the window. The furniture is old and worn out. The staff were very unfriendly, greetings are a foreign word to them and the cleaners could only speak broken German. For this service and equipment much too expensive.

It doesn't have to be.

The price/quality ratio for the center of Vienna is just great. In the morning at 7 o'clock you wake up to the bell. I recommend for single travelers traveling by public transport. The hotel's excellent location for walking around the city and convenient transport links with the Vienna station and airport.

Perfect for a budget trip.

The only drawback of this hotel is the wifi, since it didn't take in my room. The staff were very kind and available, especially Mr. Alex. The room was very clean and very spacious, maybe a little backwards but absolutely pleasant style and the sheets were changed often. The bathroom was private, which was very positive considering the price at night, and it was clean and equipped with hair dryers. The building is a little old, but for the rest it's absolutely nothing to laugh at. The location is absolutely the strong part of this hotel being a two-step walk from the subway, and the station and it's very easy to reach it from the airport. If I went back to Vienna I would definitely take another trip to this hotel.
