The hotel was aware of the planned shutdown of hot water, but did not dare to report it (although I booked in advance). Discounts for inconvenience and torture (and lack of water at a temperature plus twenty-six is hell!) are not provided, but the word excuse is printed on the reception.

Stick around, or forget about the hygiene.

The only thing that connects this place to the hotel is the name of the wi-fi access point, namely BELEVROHTEL. The unpleasant smell and the constantly falling toilet cover will surprise you. If, of course, you can get in the shower in its entirety, and most importantly, get out of there.

Like 25 years ago.

It's a very nice soundproofing. It's been waiting for the Soviet era, but it's got a European level. It worked well on the 4th floor. It's not even worth mentioning the location. It's next to the train station. New burger downstairs, the entrance right from the hotel hall.

Much better than expected!!

My wife and I went to the hotel for one day from April 30th, 19th, to May 1st, 19th, to go for a walk around town, and the hotel didn't like it because of the black water in the tap for two days and the elevators not working... if you think the water was black and all, you're wrong.

Not really.

I came to Gomel from April 3 to 5, 2019 Modestly, it's cozy. For this amount I expected the worst. But what I saw exceeded expectations. The convenient location, almost the center of the city, the train station is within a minute walk. I'm happy to visit. I recommend everyone. The only downside is that Wi-Fi is unstable, it's constantly disappearing and the speed is falling.

I was on a business trip to my hometown.

The hotel is located near the train station. And everything. The prices are not adequate. The rooms are bad especially for us Belarusians. There are no breakfasts. Parking for 15 seats and everything. In short, I don't recommend. But there is one plus - nearby through the square of meters through 50 there is a corchma bezm. There is good cooking. But if for one night but not more, then the hotel will be suitable. In this hotel a couple or one floor is given or you bought another hotel. There is a price higher and the quality is only apparent. In short, only for one night if you want to sleep hard. Better in the car or in the room of the child and mother at the train station.

The hotel was lovely, although it was a special one. Breakfast at the next cafe from 7 to 30. Swedish table. Very good quality. The rooms are quiet. The price of the room is low. The cards are accepted. The ATM is at the entrance. The gym is nominal ;) forget it. Check where you can eat. On the first floor there is a burger until 23h00 and a coffee machine. There is Internet.

A short stop on the trip

I don't usually stay in the hotel rooms. I rarely find a good price-quality combination. However, this hotel pleased me. Nice girls at the reception, you can put breakfast in the price of the room. The repair is quite civil both in the room and in the hotel itself. Of course, not 5 stars, but the price is much lower (in Russia I didn't find many hotels at this price in this quality). Living near the station, from where we used to drive electrically every day, walks to the next cafe for breakfast were extremely convenient.

One step from the station

The hotel is very close to the central railway station so it has all the pros and cons (used by travelers from all over) The first impression that you have entered the hall is certainly not positive as well as the reception that has difficulty expressing itself in English (looking in Italian).

They're slowly renovating it.

If you are working on a budget but do not want to suffer on quality then Hotel Gomel is a fantastic choice. Located next to the central train station. Easy access to anywhere in Gomel thanks to the taxis and bus services nearby. The accommodation I got was about $40 per night and I had a small apartment. The staff do not speak English but it isn't a problem. I had stayed here previously and will do so again in the future.
