The mattresses are spread out, but dirty. There is no WiFi, phones, 10 channels on TV. I came in, lay down and slept. However, at night from the window it looks amazing. Breakfast was taken out for 8 rubles. I came in the morning with my wife. I waited 20 minutes. Dirty scurvy (apparently they danced on them at night in boots), orange and uncooked food scattered on the floor, on the tables of leftovers.

The hotel has a safe 2+ pool of clean water, but everything is clean and tidy.

The rooms were clean, the clothes were fresh, the plumbing was new, the toilet was fresh, the shower was behind the curtain), there were no problems with water. But the TV, the cabinet, the next two beds, the table, the chairs and the cupboards, in general everything that was declared, everything was in good condition.

I stayed at the hotel 2 times,in winter and summer.In summer the hotel can charge an extra fee for the calming noise of the fountain under the windows.The room is small, but cozy.The bedding is linen.The only hotel where I liked pillows.

Stayed here for 7 nights whilst over as part of huminatarian visit.
My first time in Belarus, so cannot compare to other hotels here.

The good points,  staff very helpful, a couple spoke some English allways helpful.  Bedrooms are boiling hot.  Rooms are very basic, with bed, wardrobe, en suite, chair and desk.  Room rate is cheap compare to our hotels, so you get what you pay for.

The negatives, housekeeping is haphazard some days rooms cleaned, other days not, eg towels removed and not replenished, when mentioned it, they did resolve the issue, but service overall is haphazard.  One bar staff member v helpful, other very brusque and spent more time on phone, chatting and ignoring people.
I would advise not going for breakfast, we did the first day and never went back, service v slow.
If you want good location basic hotel, then this is for you.

Good as a base

In the room, the studio room with a view of Dnepr is on the 7th floor. The room is clean, fresh laundry is given out when settling in (suddenly, laundry usually awaits in the room). In the room there is a refrigerator, a teapot, a toilet with a table, a TV. As the 3rd bedroom is a sofa. In the bathroom there is a washing machine, a toilet, a bicycle, an acrylic bath.

This hotel is the worst thing that can happen to you in the cemetery, but seriously, you don't know how they exist, who stays in this hotel, the bar on the first floor, the al'la sovieticus, the mysterious drunken characters who sleep on the first floor and bother guests, no guards, one plus is the Dnieper.

The room is very cold, you're sure to be offered extra clothes, but it didn't save you, you had to sleep in your clothes. The service is bad, the room cleaning starts very early, it's a shock to me. There's not even a don't bother sign.

One disappointment.

This is a comfortable hotel with friendly staff. The reception area is nice and welcoming. We visited at the end of winter and rooms were warm and were exactly what we needed. Its not a luxurious hotel by any means, but we liked it.  Its easy to find and has parking outside. It was a great base for us for our trip and we look forward to visiting Hotel Tourist again on our next trip.

Comfortable hotel

Hotel is Soviet style multi-story building and a bit outside the city, to the train station 10 min by taxi or a 45 min walk. Rooms start around $ 40 (no AC, TV only Russian) and are Okay and very clean (rooms were clean everywhere in Belarus). I had a room facing the front that was a bit noisy at night but not to bad. Staff is nice and one girl there spoke English – but you’re better off with Russian.
