Although some staff member might be more friendly and charge 2€ for keeping your luggage in the hotel before you arrive or after you leave, its location, price, cleanliness and, in general, the comfort of the rooms, fill those shortcomings and make it a very good option to stay in Brussels for a couple of nights.

A great option in Brussels at a very good price!

We spent here three nights and the price was really good ( 3 nights for two people 200€). The position is perfect, you can walk everywhere and the street is alright. The hotel is clean and it s perfect if you don’t need to spend a lot of time in the room. I recommend it! 

Good solution if you want to stay in the center

It's not a typical hotel, it's for passing through we could say, it's checked in from a machine but if there are problems or a man in the small reception 24 hours a day, it has a room with food and drink machines, a machine that cleans your shoes for free (me did grace) and in the mornings they offer free baking, the room was very nice and very comfortable, to be doing excursions and going to rest is perfect, it is well located and well cared for, next to the center (you walk to the Grand Place) right behind you have a pedestrian street full of shops and restaurants, i recommend it if what you are looking for is a place to rest.

Practical hotel 

No reception with hard to use self check-in. No shampoo or showergel in the bathroom, only one little soap. Bathroom was clean but smelled a bit funny (a bit like egg). The location is ok, between Grand Place & Noord Station.

The air conditioner doesn't work, or rather it gets cold: you have to keep it regular in the room but it turns out that it's fake and the air is general for everyone the same and that's why it's getting cold for all of us! We were given two more dresses because we don't stop calling at 12 o'clock in the evening, no shampoo or anything in the bathroom. If you want more dresses, shampoo or pillows you have to pay for in a machine with coins. Before 9:30 am, someone knocks and opens the door to all the rooms.... although the contestant opened.. like they check which ones are with people and which ones are with no. But 9.30 AM!!!!!! I only have one night left and I wouldn't come back.

It's too late!

The service and the room were good.We arrived before check-in and were allowed to pass to a common space that the hotel has on the first floor.You can store luggage and there are also vending machines for drinks and food (all paid).The location is good, about 15 minutes from the historic center, however the location is good, there is a shopping street and a shopping around.

A place to recommend.

The hotel has no reception : the check in goes through machines. It makes it quite “soulless”. 
My room was really really tiny : no place to put my luggage, even on the floor, no door at the bathroom and there is no space. I knocked myself several times (head, knees, feet...) when I moved because of this lack of space.
It was quite clean, but one day I found a long hair in the sink (I have short hairs...).
The situation in town is ok, not far from the city centre, even if it’s not in an interesting part to go out in the evening or shopping.

Minimal

Very impersonal hotel, rooms in Spartan style, fancy showers, noise, very few TV shows... For the asking price, there are significantly better proper hotels with nice staff, clean rooms and breakfast. No further recommendation from me!!

Once and never again

I really impressed about the price and the hotel . I visited Brussels at Christmas period and I really enjoyed it. Maxhotel is only 10 minutes from central . It has very friendly staff .room was clear . 

Very good hotel

It needs a good refurbishment of the rooms, no plugs, and not even shower soap, you really have what you pay for a cheap hotel, but it's bad for a night.
