A good place to stay in Botafogo. With the metro station at 10 meters and the beach at 20 meters. The people are very friendly. You should ask for the key in a hostel that is a few meters back and is distinguished by the flags. The other hostel has a permanent reception and is where you have breakfast. It is an excellent option with spacious rooms and a bathroom.

It's worth it.

The location is perfect. The staff is very nice  and rooms are very clean. The atmosphere is so cool. Everybody is so friendly and willing to make your trip more fun. The beaches are incredibleee and the beautiful sun was there all my stay.

Close to everything

This hostel is a good option. It is in Botafogo, near from the beach. 

The staff is awesome. They always help the backpackers to go wherever they need.

The atmosphere in incredible. People very open to know each other!

Localization, good staff

nothing fancy, just what you would expect from a backpackers hostel. nice walk to the closest bus stop. decent peeps hanging out, chill atmosphere. plenty of bars within walking distance. costs a bit to get to the airport

Best Place ever.. Nice bar, nica staff, nice rooms! Such a good feeling, recommend for young peoples. BEST LOCATION ever, 2 minutes walking fron the tube and 1 stop to copacabana, 5 minutes walking from botafogo beach, shopping malls, supermarkets, and places for party. best hostel ever

Good vibe

It's dirty. Breakfast is in the hostel next door: the food is on a pool table (!!!), not a single piece of fruit, when the juice was poured water with sugar and paint, the story was dirty. Out of the bathroom the water was running under the shower. During the day we were not allowed to go into the room because two guys renovated the ceiling....It was the worst thing we've experienced in Brazil...

Incredible, but true

This cheap hostel doesn´t have a lot of different things to do besides sleep  in a good bed, take a shower and watch television. It has a good kitchen and is well located, really near to the rio´s subway system and well served by bus (to go to the historical centre, the beaches, the santos dumont airport etc). The backstreet is really a plus: you can eat good and cheap food in the Aguia restaurant, besides drink beer almost anytime. There´s everything that you near really close and almost 24/7. The staff is friendly and knows what to do in the city. The lack of more comfort (they are reforming the ceiling) is ok near the Redeemer view from the window.
