I have visited the place often in the past few years. My latest visit was terrible, staff was extremely rude to me and my family to a point where they insulted us. I have always loved supporting local business but I will definitely not visit the place again. I guess staff are frustrated because of low salaries or lack of manners. They have definitely lost a regular client (this happened June 11th, around 18:30, in case anyone wonders whether it was a recent experience).

Staff is rude, price is overrated

Stayed for a week in Plovdiv. Super location just a 15 minute walk along a quiet street to the city centre. The place couldn't be any cleaner. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Great breakfast. Would recommend for leisure or business.

A week in Plovdiv 

This is our second time to stay here , last time was in January 2020. After dinner in the nearby restaurant complex, we chose on the spot to take nap in Noris hotel, as previously we stayed there, even it was not so pleasant last time with the floor carpet smell. Took two rooms, 401&403. This time was not that smelling bad, seems they take note from before, Checking was fast and pleasant, the receptionist was professional. We came around midnight as walk in. Left at morning 7am. Descent hotel in quiet area in Plovdiv.

Place to sleep in Plovdiv

The hotel looks very good. The room was big, clean and modern. The only disadvantage was that the windows kept making noise all the time. I suppose that the temperature difference was the cause of their constant cracking noises.  

Almost perfect

The room has two spacious chairs, a table and a table, a TV with the first Russian TV program, in the shower there are: cosmetic set: gel, shampoo, soap, body lotion (refurbished every day) + condoms. There are also sponges for shoes. The room is being destroyed every day. The hotel is relatively close to the center. Breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. to choose six sets of dishes + tea/coffee and fresh. Breakfast is not refined, but saturated. The temperature of the air in the room was easily regulated. Very poor lighting, there is no lighting over the table, so it is impossible to work on the computer at the same table.

Middle-class hotel

An anonymous palace overlooking an alley located in a rather sad and deserted urban area, has large but cold and naked rooms, unattractive: good for one night but no more.

Impersonal

We stayed at the Norris Hotel for a few days, the room wasn't very clean, the carpet smelled bad, it was very old. The bathroom had everything we needed, we really liked the little soap in the sinks. At the reception all the staff were very nice and always ready to help.

Norris needs to change.

I was in Hotel Noris, Plovdiv, Bulgaria in July’18, it was my 3rd stay in the hotel. 
 I always like to go back there, beds and linen are so comfortable, there is an air conditioning system - highly recommend it. 
The rooms are spacious and bright all stuff people are friendly and helpful.
 The hotel is clean the housekeeping service is great they cleaned and tidied my room everyday.

Great Hotel. Excellent service. The place is close to the centre so if people are interested in shopping it is excellent. Furthermore if you need to go further they can order a taxi as well have a shuttle to and from the airport at a reasonable price

Great for Hills of Rock

The room was great, extremely big and confortable. Large windows and good view to the outside (although the sights are not great). The location was good for us, near the Agriculture University. The bar downstairs was nice, where you could have the breakfast or a snack or drink any time of the day. Not too far from the city center but not close either. The breakfast was not bad but was not buffett, so it was a bit limited. One night we had very loud music until 7 am! I admit that I did not complain but it was annoying anyway. The air conditioning was not working properly (made more noise that cold air).
