This is the third most disgusting hotel I've ever visited (and the two others where years before TA). Im not gonna spent alot of time with this so bare with me for this very short review. To call this a hotel might be the biggest joke God pulled on us since the Platypus.

Location
Its in Tryavna. Everything is in the middle here, so is this place.

Staff
Could they care less about anything? I have seldom seem staff so blatantly uninterested in doing their job. Noone speak any english and didnt care to help out even when using google translate. They seemed quite offended that we came and disturbed their smoking and gossiping session with their friends.

Food
We didnt eat here. However we did have breakfast. Not included in the price of course. It was the same price as a lunch in Sofia. But oh boy did we get stuffed... Oh wait, no we didnt. Two slices of white bread, small butterbar, two slices of cheap ham. one small tomato and thee slices of cucumber. Coffee or juice was extra. Of course.

Room
Now we're getting there... Utterly disgusting! Just walking in (this was the "suite") it looked ok. Then you looked around. The carpet was filled with unidentified stains and dirt. Metal in the bathroom rusty. The paperbin was stained. Plaser dust and dirt mixed at every corner. Behind the bed was a 25cm (thats 12 inches for you brits and yankees out there) spiderman toy! The picture doesnt show but it was covered in dirt before I moved it (I left it there later, bet it stilled there). The bed wasnt up at the wall so this tells me they havent vacuumed or even looked behind the bed for months!

We never went barefoot but had to have shoes on because the floor was simply disgusting.

Worst. Place. Ever.

After at least 45 minutes between the order and the dishes, the waitress served us one dish, announcing that the other was finished, and then she left without further explanation and without offering us a replacement dish.

One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in - one night was sufficient
 
Entire room requires a very deep clean. Bed was uncomfortable. Could hear every noise from the adjoining rooms
 
Breakfast is charged extra at €2 per person. I was astounded to learn that it only consisted of a very basic breakfast plate and that no beverages were included. Add another €2 per person if you desire coffee (the one I was served was cold) and/or juice

A very bad experience!

The hotel is situated in the walking area of Tryavna - a few steps away from any attraction. There is no automobile traffic nearby, so the only noise from outside is caused by pedestrians. Unfortunately it appeared that the you cannot enjoy the silence inside the rooms. The walls are very thin and you can can easily hear everything your neighbors do - from talking to taking a shower. The rooms themselves are small, but clean, spacious and well equipped. 
We had another unpleasant event with our stay at Familia. We were advised by the staff that we can park our car just behind the hotel. It appeared that the "parking" is a part of children playground, illegally occupied by the hotel, which  had made local residents angry. So when we tried to leave, it appeared that a local had intentionally blocked the "parking" exit with his car as a revenge against the hotel. So we lost about an hour of waiting for the local man to move his car. Of course, there was no assistance by the staff.

Only location is good

The hotel is well-located in the centre of Tryavna. The rooms are a bit on the small side, but considering the price it's hard to really complain. They were clean and the staff was generally friendly; the only real downside was the room in which we stayed had a bed which one could feel the coils, so it wasn't as comfortable as others in which I have slept. Otherwise, though, good place and Tryavna is a great place to visit!

Decent

Friendly English speaking staff and good value made for a very enjoyable stay in a beautiful town. The room was small, adequately equipped, but cozy and the balcony overlooked the municipal square and within walking distance of many of the town's many attractions.  Breakfast wasn't included in the €47 rate and our eggy bread choice was a bit disappointing.
