I absolutely loved staying here. Andrew is a warm and excellent host. He made chocolate cake while I was over and cooked chicken. His bread, cakes and cooking itself is worth the stay. The location is perfect because you get to meet a lot of the locals since they hang around and stop by to say hi. I recommend this place to anyone who's planning a trip to M'Pei Bei. I'd love to come back!

Amazing Stay!!!

I love staying here. Andrew is an amazing host. His fire baked bread is worth the trip just to try it.  Newly added ceiling fans are a big help in the two dorms.  Over sized beds in the dorms. Water from his 5,000 liter tank means you never have to pay for good drinking water. Communal dinners are great fun for all.
Stay here and you will not be disappointed.

THE BEST

Andrew is so lovely and goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome here. The dorms were clean and the beds were a great size despite being bunks. Andrew bakes cakes and cooks dinner for a small fee which was so tasty! He also did our laundry for us while we were there and took great care over doing so! Absolutely loved staying here and would recommend it to anyone! 

So welcoming! 

Andrew makes this place into the amazing spot it is. He will cook you great dinners, make delicious bread and peanut butter, wash your clothes and tell you amazing stories. It is a great place for solo travellers and I really do recommend it!

Amazing host!

greatest hostal owner I've ever had!!! He washed our clothes, baked mango cake and bread, cooked, let us cook, made coffee in the morning! The beds are so comfy, u can notice that Andrew invested a lot in the matresses. The location is great and easy to find (Andrew sends u an explanation upon booking). The fact that he has a washing mashine and a kitchen makes the stay perfect, but of course Andrew himself is just what makes a stay here great! He really cares for everybody and wants to have you a nice stay!

Feels like a second home

Andrew is a really friendly and caring owner. From the get go he was helpful and informative. Fabulous homemade bread and cake. Beautiful communal family meals. Relaxed communal area. Great mosquito nets as this island has heaps of mozzies. Spacious dorm rooms with a power outlet. HOT showers. Great cooking space with lots of spices and tea. Availability of washing machine!!! 
I felt really at home here. Hope the nearby construction ends soon. 

Amazing stay and a home away from home

Andrew, the owner, is a very sociable and kind person. The environment seems to be designed to socialize. I went alone and met a lot of people I made friends with and had a nice day.

Perfect for socializing and meeting new friends

I had to stay there 5 nights, I stayed there 10.5 dollars a night, the cheapest M'Pay Bay with homemade bread, possible laundry, possible hot water, possible wifi... big bed, clean. You'll be in touch with the locals because everyone visits Andrew, especially the kids. The prices of the shop right across the street are cheaper than elsewhere and divine shake. For a solo trip, you'll be able to find partners to go to Clearwater Bay very easily.

What about when everything is perfect?

There are 2 bedrooms with 2 beds each Price of 5 dollars per night are comfortable beds 1.40cm and the mosquito net, no batting paper The atmosphere is very pleasant In front or like a house where girls are available to sell you a $1 smoothie or a $0.5 drink almost 24 hours The location is perfect if you want to be alone on the beach A 15 minute walk you will find the beach where there is a marine plankton.

It has its charm.

I'm sitting in a cozy group with Andrew right now in Longvek. A great host and you get a lot of tips to take a closer look at the island! The kitchen is just cooking and the big dining table is already covered for everyone! Great atmosphere here! The beds are big and clean! Shower top and hot water... There's nothing missing in the kitchen and there's drinking water. The hostel is about 3 minutes away from the pier. Andrew's homemade bread is spicy! In the evenings you usually watch a movie or sit comfortably together. Privacy is less you're looking for here... The hostel would definitely miss you further! It's been a lot of fun!
