Kirsten did an amazing job with Dragonfly. This spot is perfect for a day time relax or night party. Great people and great atmosphere. Love food...and cheese plater...OMB after travelling so long in Asia you need some diary...thats your place!
Come and chill...watch the sun goes down over Koh Rong... LOVed my time there..miss it every day!

Wine cheese and sunsets thats the spot!

Didn’t stay here but a drink at the bar. Cool location with beautiful views, nice setting and layout but just didn't feel welcome by the female staff, almost like we were an inconvenience. It’s a shame because the place is cool. 

Not Welcoming-Beautiful Setting

We didn’t stay at the guest house but went for a couple of drinks, which were lovely and cold! It’s tucked away up the hill amongst some trees. Nice relaxed vibe and a brilliant view of sunset from a decking just by the bar. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Would recommend visiting for some drinks and to watch sunset! 

Nice bar!

This place is a bit further then the main beach, but this also means that it is quiet. The bar has an excellent vibe and an awesome chillout spot overlooking the ocean. It is great to relax first thing in the morning or watch the sunrise with a drink. The beds are comfortable and clean and have a mosquito net over each one. What I really liked about it is that the beds are all beside each other and there are no bunk beds. It does get hot during the day up there, but at night it is fine as there are three fans in the room. The bathrooms are clean and are cleaned each day.

Simple but quiet

Good staff .. good hostel .. I stay for few days and was really super nice !i recommend for sure .. you can walk for 10minutes and there is a beautiful view and a beautiful beaches really close ... if I will come back to koh rong sanloem I will go there for sure

Wonderful

i don’t have enough words to describe how amazing it was staying in this hostel!!! i love the area where we can sit and enjoy the sunset. i spent literally everyday there! nice atmosphere with friendly and helpful staffs 

Amazing!!! 

We stayed 2 nights. It's all very freak, including the staff. Good corner bar and sunset terrace overlooking the sea, leaves a bit to be desired the Guesthouse part: the walls are not in a wall, but simple wooden axes that obviously let everything through. Unfortunately the guests were quite noisy even in the middle of the night! Common bathroom, very spartan and without hot water, acceptable cleaning. There is no A/C, they are a fixed-speed fan. There is no Wi-Fi in the rooms, and the bar is not active on the ground floor.

The hippie corner of the island

I agree that the place is not expensive, but I wouldn't have paid more: a bathroom for a dozen people and cardboard walls! We thought check-out was at 11am, but it was at 10am. We checked out at 10:40am and had to pay an extra night as late check-out.

Disappointment

Where do I start? I stumbled upon dragon fly while wandering around looking for somewhere to stay on Koh Rong Samloem and thank the laaaawwwd for that! From the moment I arrived I knew I was going to love it here. The food is delicious , the beds are comfortable, the bucket showers are so refreshing, the sunsets are unforgettable but the thing that really made my stay at dragon fly was THE STAFF. Kirsten is absolutely great. Can’t do enough for you & really goes above & beyond to make your stay. We also met Aoife, Lucy, Jessie, Justin, Marco & Rachel who are the friendliest, funniest, hardworking ,helpful , coolest people. During my stay here I met the most lovely guests and It felt like a real family vibe and after originally booking two nights, I stayed for 8 & had to pull myself away to move onto my next destination! During my few months travelling Dragonfly was my most enjoyable accommodation and I’ll never forget it. Thanks again everyone. Love Maeve xoxo
