I find the hotel poor. The rooms are just right but the bathtub is not clean. There are leaks in the ceiling in the room and in the hallways of the hotel. The breakfast is not terrible. We had booked three rooms of which at least two are on the same floor but to get it we had to pay a table under the table while the hotel is not complete at all.

Not too bad.

The positive thing in advance: the hotel's excellent location right on the Mekong. From the outside, the hotel has a convenient impression, but the interior is relativistic. The lobby seems to be cluttered, has no charm or radiance. The staff comes over with a little bit of restraint. The rooms either haven't weathered the Covid break well, or were already in a decommissioned state, or both come together. The AC in the room is positive, the mattresses are also good for a restful sleep. The electronics have come down, the bathroom at the night table is more confident than others.

The situation could score, everything else would rather not...

This hotel is lovely. If you've made it out to Kratie Town in Cambodia, then you're likely thrilled to stay in a hotel this nice. Nice and clean, and the staff are very friendly. The views of the Mekong are incredible. If previous reviews leave you wondering why people are wandering the hotel in not but a towel when there's no pool, bear in mind there is a sauna.

A must stay in Kratie

If I could give this 10 stars I would. I stayed 3 nights and it was so lovely!!!

Where to start - was in Kratie for a study tour. From the outside it looked promising, and I was not disappointed.

The staff were lovely.

The room was spotless - robes were comfy, towels fluffy.

Had the best night's sleep on the uber comfy beds. Woke up and had a nice tea and a cig. Met a lovely guest who showed me where the sauna was and finished my stay with no complaints. 

An amazing hotel that I can't recommend enough

If I could give this a -5 I would. I stayed one night (out of intended 6) but left in the morning to stay at Le Tonle (so lovely!!!). 
Where to start - was in Kratie for work. From the outside it looked promising. That’s where it stopped. 
The staff are rude
The room was pretty dirty - towels stained yellow. Robes in cupboard were yellow. 
I found dirty tissues under the bed. And piles of grime in the corners. 
A Valium enabled me to sleep - sort of. But the next day was the last straw. 
Guests were smoking in the interior stairwells and leaving the butts on the floor. (Yes there are no smoking signs everywhere but clearly no one cares). 
The safe didn’t work and they refused to fix it. 
The kettle didn’t work and again they refused to fix it. 
Staff were using the restaurant downstairs as a dormitory. 
Most disturbing of all was a man who wandered the floor aimlessly wrapped only in a towel. Note: there is no pool. 
To be honest it felt like a weird modern-day twist on The Shining. As there was virtually no one else staying there. And with good reason. 
As a woman on my own I felt incredibly unsafe. 
Truly - don’t stay here. Le Tonle is a delightful alternative.

A dreadful hotel to absolutely be avoided.

Well, at least it’s clean.  I’m guessing this characterless modern hotel was built for Chinese tour groups who can no longer come during the current travel restrictions. Our room was large enough but otherwise barely adequate. 

Charmless but adequate 

I wasn’t blown away by the hotel but it wasn’t bad either. We had a nice view of the river from the balcony which was a bonus.
The room was clean and it’s very central.
Unfortunately we got woken up in the middle of the night by a very loud engine, presumably a boat. This happened on both nights we stayed there so we assume this is a regular thing. It’s not the fault of the hotel but it makes me think twice about staying on the front again. 
The pool doesn’t exist so don’t go looking for it! I was surprised when I read on the website that it was heated to 34 degrees.

Ok for a stop over in Kratie

Good hotel for a stopover, time to see dolphins, but no swimming pool, little staff and random wifi, especially in the rooms, but the rooms are not bad, but if you have a room at the back there is no balcony.

It's a good hotel.

It ended up being fine, and we all survived. But our AC went off after 60 min at night which would make the room so hot we’d be up each 90 min. My friend’s room initially came with dirty sheets and the second room had dirty towels. If you have the chance, choose somewhere else.

Outside, the hotel is very beautiful, very close to the city center (boutiques, market full of Chinese products and shops with even the balance of meat, fish... leaving with the heat of vomiting odors....). The situation in front of the MEKONG (the street to cross!) is very pleasant and allows to take beautiful photos of the sunrises and sunsets. You can also admire the fishing boats there. The promenade is also pleasant but pay attention to the holes, tree roots and other traps... furnished with a very nice room, bedding, TV, free WIFI, refrigerator (free from the hot water to produce the hot water), barbecue room with a nice bathroom, 2 tea bags of fresh fruit!!! Contrary to this, there are very few rooms in the city, as well as two rooms with a very clean kitchen, two rooms with a very clean kitchen, and two rooms with a very clean living room.
