A good hotel only a few minutes away from Aeon. You can walk a few miles to S21 too. The hotel has a bathtub and comes with a good breakfast. It was a bit dusty when we came but they improved a lot. Found it odd when we came at 11.30 pm and the hotel was gated but we figured out that it was near a club that probably has reckless drunk people but we encountered nothing. Staff is friendly and very, very helpful

Good hotel

It's an older Hotel , but the room is clean and comfortable. Its located on the main road to Aoen Mall and eazy access to a lot of restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful. Shower was good, A/C was efficient and wi-fi was strong.

Nice Staff, good location

We stayed here for 3 nights during our PP stay. We arrived to check-in at 7am, and although official check-in time wasn't until 2pm, the guy behind the desk was very lenient and let us book in early which was a great introduction into our visit. We also booked a twin room to save money, but the room wasn't available so we were upgraded to a double which was more good news. Breakfast is very basic, but we happened to go to Providores which was a new-cum modernised cafe on the other side of the road, albeit was a bit pricey. 
Location of The Royal Inn was ideal for most of the city's attractions, but tuk-tuks are readily on standby to offer their services. We had a problem resetting the room safe, but when we alerted a member of reception, they promptly dealt with the matter. Shower was good, A/C was efficient and wi-fi was strong. The staff most certainly do their job well, but for us it was a great stay seeing that we only booked the day before. Our experience led us to give it a 4 star rating, but the actual hotel is probably a 3 star...

No thrills but good enough for a 3 night stay...

Hotel was clean, shower with pressure and hot water option, AC was working good. Staff really friendly and carrying, they gave good advices. And just a few minutes walk from the most famous things in PP.  The only thing I have to mention is the service at the breakfast place. Not motivated at all, no smiling faces. The food was ok though but just a very small amount of choices. 

Great place for 1-2 nights, I would recommend it!

This is the second time I've stayed here and I am very pleased with the reasonable price, the very clean and good looking rooms, and the location. It is easy walking distance to Aeon, the royal palace, and the river front. 

Will definitely be back!

Minus: 1. The rooms in the hotel are very old, very poorly lit (in the evening, as if you are sitting in a prison), the bathroom needs repair and good cleaning, as well as everything else (the bedside table, the curtains, the bathroom curtains - everything is fine, but it is better to replace it). 2. The rooms in the hotel are very old (the curtains don't take the dirty spots on them) and very tasty (the curtains of the street are very expensive this morning, the curtains are also very expensive this morning). 2. The curtains of the hotel are so small that you can negotiate with the curtains of the curtains: 3. The curtains, the curtains, the curtains, the curtains, the curtains - everything is perfectly clean, but it is not easy to clean up.

It's a budget option, but it's an old hotel.

Excellent staff attention... The location, the price and the service... The very kind and smiling staff, got us the tuck tuck and the tickets for Battambang with an agency that picks you up from the hotel to the bus terminal.

Excellent attention from the staff...

A good economy hotel for those who need to stay overnight. The hotel is close to all the attractions, the staff is excellent, the rooms are normal, the breakfasts are the same. To bring someone to the room without any problems and no extra fees. For those who want a break on Riverside Street I recommend. For those who want Russian cuisine I recommend the restaurant Irina, it's excellent, and it's not far from the hotel.

I'll be right back.

They booked two nights and left the next morning on the first bus. Not good service. Not a working safe. 'Hair' in the bathtub. Dirty bed sheets. Staff supports it when the taxi drivers want to pull you over the table.

Never again!

A real mistake of this hotel. I'm upset about the money being wasted. I'd rather invest in another hotel! It's loud, the windows aren't making any noise at all. It has the worst internet of the 30 hotels here in Asia that we've been to. It's almost nonexistent. Breakfast is not enough, because it's not a vegetarian alternative. Everything looks old, especially the bathroom. The only beautiful thing is the sky bed and the nice E-equipment.
