Algoma Mills

Stayed here for a golf holiday.  While the little cabins were simply ok, the larger cabin that is supposed to accommodate 4 adults, did not.  There were 2 rooms but the Murphy bed was not made for 2.  It was uncomfortable and the pillows were useless.  Things like the decks need a refresh.  The shower had faucets that did not shut off properly.  There was no soap or shampoo.  The entrance is a little sketchy so be careful pulling in.  It was overpriced for what we got. 

Just ok.

Heading through Ontario can be long and sometimes a little sketchy for places to stop and stay the night.  If you can get a spot here, I highly recommend.
We stayed in one of the B&B rooms and it was lovely, clean, beautifully appointed and with many added touches.
In hindsight, it would have been better to stay two nights here to take advantage of all the outdoor perks too...we will next time.
Sharon was very accommodating to our vegan diet too plus we found some take out in town (Mad & Mat) for our supper too.

The perfect Trans Canada highway Oasis.

I stayed at Lake Lauzon Resort in a bed and breakfast room from May 2019 until December 2019 as I was working close by. Sharon and Mark are amazing hosts and the grounds are spectacular! The lake is crystal clear and beautiful. Perfect for swimming and the fishing is very good. I also had the opportunity to stay in some of their cottages. The cottages were awesome as well! They have a sauna near the water, an ice cream shack fully stocked in the summer and a fire pit outside. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for peace and tranquility.

Awesome Place and Great Owners!

My son Matt & I stopped in at the Lake Lauzon Resort on a road trip Ottawa to Victoria, BC. The owner served us up some amazing double scooped fresh ice cream cones, and offered us to walk about and rest at his amazing resort.
The lake is spectacular.
He mentioned it's an excellent meeting place for folks between Alberta and Newfoundland, and I can see why.

Great Stop!

We stay here two times a year in a B&B room, on a trip between Vermont and Minnesota. This is a lovely location on Lake Lauzon. For geology geeks, there are fantastic rocks with striations from the last glaciers on the rocks bye the lake. The room is extremely comfortable. Sharon and Marco are great hosts.

Another great visit to Lake Lauzon

We stopped in late with a reservation. Host Sharon was happy to have us and very friendly. We were travelling with our pet dog and there was no issues. The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom across the hall was also clean and I think it is checked frequently to ensure it is clean. We had a delicious breakfast prepared by Sharon. A nice place to stay for an over night or more as it is on the lake.

Nice treasure

We have stayed at Lake Lauzon two times on our trips across the TCH, and plan to make this a regular stop, even though we only stay for an afternoon and a night. We have stayed in a B&B room, with a great view of the lake. Very friendly owners. Pet friendly. The cabins and camp sites are lovely as well. Lovely sauna (though we did not use it). BBQ facilities. Fire pits. Great place. Photos on the web site are all good representations.

Fantastic little resort for our Trans Canada Highway trip

The resort is perfect,lake,fishing,boating,or just doing nothing but sitting on dock.
Sharon is a great hostess.
The room was great,the bed very very comfortable and if require a private bathroom.the resort is very well maintained,and has boats to rent.
