We stopped here on the way to Ottawa to move our child (again). It was SUPER affordable, and so very comfortable! What a gem! The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom looked like it had just been renovated, and everything worked (sink, toilet, fridge, etc.) perfectly. The room was very quiet. The only caveat? If you want food delivered after 8 pm, you're not going to get anything zanier than McDonald's. Fortunately the Indian restaurant on the main drag is open till 9, so call in your order and go pick it up--it was less than 2 km away. 

Absolutely lovely!

Clean, fast free WiFi, good TV with lots of channels. Bathroom was recently updated. Good water pressure. Close to stores and restaurants. Bed was comfortable. Only concern was that the A/C was louder then would have wanted.

I will stay here again, excellent value for the cost.

Good spot if you just looking for a low cost hotel/motel

Rented the room and noticed that  the room had in case of fire evacuation fire notices posted in the room. Fridge, microwave and coffee maker were in the bathroom with an extension cord connecting them through a hole cut out in the bottom of the wall to an outlet used for the television. The toilet, shower/bathtub were in an enclosed room but with 40% of an electric base board heater next to the shower/tub combination running through another cut out in the wall with the remaining 60% of the heater on the other side across from the sink. I don't know what the fire department or building inspectors would have done had they had seen this.

Clean but.....

A comfortable very clean motel, reasonably priced and well maintained. New owners who have done a great sprucing up of the motel. A great place to stop during a long drive. Plus Arnprior is a cute town to visit! Definitely recommend a visit.

Spotless!

My daughter had a problem booking online and somehow had two rooms. When she showed up the person checking her in was very rude to her and bullied her into paying for both rooms. Called them back and they were unappologetic.

Rip Off

We wanted a comfortable night's sleep for a pass-through trip.  We found it!  The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable.  Gary Patel, the innkeeper, was extraordinarily nice.  I hope we can keep finding places this good.

Comfy!!!

This is a small 2 story motel in town, near grocery stores, restos, banks, LCBO, Beer Store and more, some you can walk to and some need to drive.  When we checked in, was greeted at the front desk by the Manager and was checked in promptly, room 17 on the ground floor.  It was a large room with a queen bed, sofa, coffee table, TV with cable, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, AC and free WIFI.  The room was very clean everywhere.   Soap, shampoo & conditioner (Finesse) were provided.  A continental breakfast was provided with 2 kinds of breads and bagels, with toaster, muffins, margarine, jams & peanut butter.  Also, coffee & Sunny D were included.  Free parking is included in the room rate.  Overall, friendly staff, clean rooms, great little motel to use as a base when visiting the area and would stay there again.

Nice motel to use as a “home base”

If you've been to this city, you'll see that there's no point in expecting too much from the hotels that are there. It's certainly true for budget hotels. I only had to stop for one night, and when I looked, I realized that the crap of the rack wasn't sweeter. So I picked the rack, that is, this hotel itself. Well, what to say... it's not impressive, of course, but for one night in this hole it's pretty sleepy. There's a TV, the Internet, a shower with a toilet. It's hot, and although the air conditioner works, it doesn't give much coolness, while it roars like a wounded bear.

The budget overnight.

I stayed at this hotel for three days and it was a very good summer. Lunch provided. A clean room and comfortable bed. The space is not small and the hotel people are paying attention to everything to make us enjoy our stay. I will be back.

Excellent quality/price

We were at this property in August 2012 and we discovered the property on the way from the Algonquin National Park to Ottawa, and the room was spacious and there were two large double beds.
