The Customer service was non existent. It was very poorly managed. The property is run down and dingy. The ammenties are not accessible at this time and a lot of noise during the night and no apologies from management

Never Again

We got a great deal, staying Saturday to Monday. For a 2 bedroom, sofa bed with kitchen it was a steal. We came for a wedding and there was 5 of us so this spacious suite met our needs. The only downside, which was minor, was the distance, but Canmore is such a small town that it only took 5 minutes to get to the restaurants, gas stations & grocery stores. I thought the washer/dryer in the suite was a great bonus!

Perfect Size for the Price

We had booked and paid for two nights to stay in with our two children whilst we enjoyed the local skiing. 
When we arrived we found out that the hot tub wasn't working (through asking, reception didn't inform us) 
Disappointed, my husband explained it was a shame and the receptionist told him 'you don't have to stay here'!
We drove up to the condo, upon opening the door was greeted by a horrendous moldy and musty smell. We brought our bags in whilst the kids ran around and explored. Both came downstairs a few minutes later with green mold on them after crawling on the carpet! That combined with the shower cubicle that was still standing but no shower, wood placed over the plug socket and tape around it. The upstairs bathroom sink was cracked and the whole place was dusty. 
We swiftly cancelled our booking and at such short notice had to pay over $200 more to book another place. 
The staff at the front desk offered no apology, concern or explanation for the awful state of the accommodation. 
I just wish we had looked at reviews beforehand.

Terrible doesn't quite cut it.

We booked this knowing it was a little way out of Canmore but hoped that this wouldn’t matter, it’s closer to Banff and the skiing and it’s cheaper so that’s better, right?

Wrong. From the moment I walked into the lobby to find no one present but a kid behind the counter watching movies on an iPad and refusing to make eye contact, I should have guessed this was going to be a let down...

No pool, dirty out-dated rooms apparently “undergoing renovations”, musty smells, ripped curtains and wardrobes with no doors meant I decided to take our family and leave.

We won’t be returning and suggest you don’t bother either...

Nope. Don’t bother. It’s cheap for a reason.

Our family flew in from Nova Scotia for a family vacation over the Christmas holidays 
To say we were disappointed in our accommodations would be an understatement
The pictures of the rooms /units on their website are nothing like what we received 
Here are a few of the issues as there are too many to list in this space
Fire extinguishers not inspected since Nov 2018
Exits were not clear most were housing summer furniture
The hot tub was a disgrace it was brown murky water certainly nothing you would enter
The pool area was very cold n the pool water as well
The rooms are not clean in fact there were numerous amounts of dust n cobwebs removed n the rooms disinfected prior to settling in 
The lowers bathroom was under renovation which were not complete the sink could easily move from side to side not safe for young children 
No working television in the bedroom a do me television had the entire back off it
Sofa bed was dirty actually asked for more towels to cover the thing in order to sit on it n feel ok
Checked the mattress on the sofa bed stained beyond believe 
Blinds not working which gave no privacy from the parking lot 
Television stand had pieces of wood broken off it and numerous nails were visible 
If it wasn’t such a busy time in Banff n we were able to get other accommodations on short notice we definitely would have left here and unfortunately when  you fly this many miles turning around and going home is not an option 
We have attempted to contact the owner / manger on several occasions only to be avoided 
Personally we will never go back here n I certainly would never recommend this for accommodations

Family vacation Inn on the Rockies Cannmore

We drove down from Northern Alberta, My entire family flew in from Nova Scotia to stay with us here right after Christmas December 27-30. We had 2 units, 6 adults 4 small children

The accommodations were awful. One of the TVs in our unit had the entire back ripped off it, the tv shelf in the living room had cabinetry missing and nails sticking out.

The living room blinds were practically hanging together by a thread... we had to hang up our jackets over it to have some privacy (it’s a large window looking to the parking lot) we told the front desk about this when we checked in and finally we ended up taking the entire blind apart and re threading it together ourselves.

The lower bathroom off the living room was under construction and not finished, you would move the bathroom sink...??...definitely not safe for young children. 

The sofa was disgustingly dirty and the mattress that pulled out was stained and a mess.

Fire extinguishers we’re not inspected since Nov 2018, no access to some exits, blocked with summer chairs.

Cobwebs and dust everywhere.

We spoke to the manager who said he would call us back and did not. We’ve been to Banff 4 times this year, avoid this place I wouldn’t even go here as a last resort.

Terrible customer service, terrible accommodations

I absolutely adored this cozy apartment that gave me and my friends so much space to lounge around and get a good night's rest. However, the sheets and pillow do have a musty smell. At first it's a bit unbearable and off-putting but after the first night, we got accustomed and didn't want to complain to the hotel since they didn't seem to care about customer service. 

My first example of their lack of customer service started with our first impression of the lady at the front desk. She can be a bit better with mannerism. As tourists, we had questions and were curious about the amenities at the hotel. She was curt with her answers. On the first night, we went to the hot tub and pool in the evening, and about 15 minutes before closing, the lady came out telling us it was time to close up. There were children and additional guests who were enjoying this amenity. This kind of service she was demonstrating to us clearly showed she was ready to go home and didn't care about our "customer experience" at the hotel.

Second, I have been charged erroneously by the hotel and have been trying to get that rectified since August. I have been in contact with Gary numerously about the separate billing charges, and they do not make sense to me. I reference the Expedia amount that I've been quoted over email, and he said he had billed that amount. I haven't had this issue with any of the vendors in Canada. This is quite an annoying experience since I'm still trying to resolve it.

Third, my friend had her luggage delivered late in the evening at the front desk. She had informed the lady at the front desk about that, and for some reason, the lady did not keep note of that and sent the luggage back. So my friend spent almost two days without her things. You'd think as a hotel, you would go out of your way to accommodate a guest who traveled half way across the world to visit your beautiful backyard.

Overall, this was a friendly budget apartment hotel, but with all the issues I've had... be mindful that these are the risks you could potentially take on.

Beautiful Renovated Apartment, Musty Sheets, Terrible Service/ Wrong Credit Card Charges

Nice hotel and clean when we got there.  We stayed for 2 nights. Our room never got freshened up or new towels, they ran out of coffee for us in the am and ran out of towels for the pool/hot tub.  I would find somewhere else...

Wouldn’t stay again..

I’ll start that I hooked this hotel by directly calling the hotel and speaking to the assistant manager Gary. I booked two rooms. I asked the difference between standard and premium, I was told premium is more modern and standard has the better view. At no time was I told standard rooms were IN THE MIDDLE OF RENOVATIONS! Open drain holes in missing showers is not acceptable. We changed rooms multiple times, did receive a discount in the end, but dealt with - no heat, open drain, gap in step into room, holes in walls, unsafe balcony, room key that would not work ( multiple times), garbage in room. The list goes on! I waited at the front desk to speak to Gary at one point, finally left a message with my CELL NUMBER. He called my house, which I discovered when I got home.

Many safety concerns and very run down

Stayed here for a weekend as a part of a wedding party. Gary, at the front desk was excellent!! Very friendly and lovely to chat with. He even gave me a free upgrade to the premium room as all the rest of the wedding party was booked in that area of the townhouses. The room itself was perfect. Nice and spacious. Loved that it had 2 full bathrooms - came in handy with everyone getting ready for the wedding. Loved drinking my coffee taking in the breathtaking view of the mountains from my balcony! The only small complaint was the downstairs bathroom could use abit of upgrading and the shower curtain needed to be replaced.
