Good basic quality motel in stunning surroundings. Worth any penny/cent. Outdoor grills are great. Indoor equipment evenly good. Next supermarket ist quite a distance away. Trail heads at the doorstep. View from your appartement: ineffable beautiful. Any time again!

Ineffable view - good quality - trailheads at your doorstep

This is a great spot for a clean, quiet accommodation with a beautiful view (unless it’s too foggy lol).
We stayed in a room with a kitchenette which was small but well equipped. There is a balcony outside the front door with a pair of Adirondack chairs; this overlooks the bay. There are also two barbecues for guests to use. These are also out front with a view of the bay.
Inside there’s a sink and two burners as well as dishes, cutlery and pots/pans. 
There’s also a small window at the back of the room offering a mountain view.
The Phare du Cap-des-Rosiers is less than a 5-minute walk away and is visible from the property.
It would be great to have fluffier towels to use but they were, at least, bright white.

All you need in a tranquil spot

There is a beautiful view right in front of the motel with ample parking. The rooms are small and crowded given they have a kitchen area. The owner is pleasant too. Unfortunately the beds were very uncomfortable  We had two beds and we both were tired and sore in the morning. This is a deal breaker for me so until the beds are updated, I would look elsewhere.

Uncomfortable Beds

The view, first of all! On Forillon Park and Cape of Roses beach! In front of us, in the morning, seals, a whale and full of birds! The sunrise was also gorgeous. The proximity to Forillon Park was also very appreciated, especially since the motel is literally 4 minutes from a super clean, cheap and even convenient laundry at Forillon Park! The view of the kitchen is INCREDIBLE! HALLUCINANT! No obstruction with the outside ramps. We can't even see cars that are parked because the rooms are over!

Paradise on earth!

Sitting on the balcony the view is beautiful. Well situated a few minutes from the Forillon Park, and the Cape of Rosiers Lighthouse, it is possible to easily return to the hotel to rest between two walks. Our room with kitchenette was very well equipped, the small fridge with freezer allows us to freeze our water bottles for picnics. Very clean place. Comfortable bed. You were our heartbeat on our vacation in Gaspésie this summer. What a lovely welcome from these new owners, Eric and Marie-Hélène, to see them take care of their hostels so well, we encourage you to return and recommend their establishment. We tell them that they would enjoy their stay the next morning and it is a promise, when we return early in Gaspésie that it was our best day to stay in Gaspésie. But when our children have stayed there, it is certainly the best day to stay at the gallery.

A super motel: friendly owners, a perfect location (on the oceanfront, right next to the Cape of Rosiers lighthouse (just across the road) and the Gaspésie National Park, spacious rooms, recently renovated and clean, and a bonus sea view.

Perfect: clean, refurbished, well located and good value for money

Small, basic, and dimly lit but comfortable and clean room. The location provides us with great sea views from the porch area. The Cap-des-Rosiers Lighthouse National Historic Site of Canada is 150 m away, and both the beach and the northernmost hiking trail of Forillon are both within sight of the hotel as well. If you are lucky, you might see seals and whales swim by (we saw a few seals)!

Simple room with a great view.

The rooms are not new, but clean and equipped with everything necessary to cook and eat. There is even a table and folding chairs to install on the galleries. Access to Forillon Park across the street with a family trail. A little further away by car there is a beach and other trails. In front of the hotel there is a lighthouse with a small park. Cantina/cafeteria also accessible on foot with a very large menu (pizza cooked on site)

Perfect for staying with kids

This motel is well situated ; quite area, very close to parc Faurillon and reasonable driving distance from Gaspé. The room is clean, comfortable beds, the bathroom works fine, no bad surprises. The rooms are facing the gulf of St Laurence, so you got a nice view.

Simple, comfy and great view

The view is very beautiful and even if you are stuck on the road, it is very quiet in the evening. Very well located because near the Forillon Park. Activity of the Castor must not be missed 5 minutes by car. It is not luxury but it makes the case extensively for a short stay. We enjoyed the BBQ and the kitchen. It was very clean. We did not do it but we can have lunch on the spot.
