We arrived in Chicoutimi and passed the tourist office around 12h, there wasn't much disposal in different hotel in the city, finally we found a hostel downtown, near everything, restaurant, old harbor, downtown, etc. Room tres tres tres basic, its smell was good in the room but not tres big, we found in addition to a lot of pork in the back of the little office glued to the wall, no lunch offered, a bar with a bit of bizarre people in the building, on Saturday night it made sense we couldn't sleep more on and on the second floor because it made the party at least 4:00 in the morning outside under our window..oh boy there was no junk.. I'll never return the call...

road trip to chicoutimi

It's more like a hotel than a hostel, free parking is a public parking lot facing the building. Attention, on weekends, it's karaoke night in the bar on the ground floor, if you don't feel like a singer, avoid sleeping there at this time (may be late and the hallways are noisy).

Nice little hotel unless you take the economical rooms without air conditioning and a common shower. Prefer the other rooms that are very clean. Avoid the street side for traffic. Nice home we were able to change rooms due to availability because the first night was very complicated. Stay in half a shade. Small lunch. Hotel well located geographically.

We'll go back without hesitation. The staff are attentive. Simple breakfast included. We were there one day a week so I can't judge the atmosphere of the bar on the ground floor.

Affordable and clean room

Not really welcome when we arrive, inquire first for anyone having trouble because two floors without elevator. No soundproof room, bathroom that lets people hear conversations next door. Little sink with no place to put a toilet. Plus piano bar, game room and karaoke until late Thursday to Sunday. We could leave without being informed that there was a breakfast if we can give this name. No staff, you can handle yourself and you have to get rid of it and put it in a big trash can in front of the open counter with clean flip-flops.

Passing by and looking elsewhere

Clean and relatively well situated. Well received. However, no ventilation in the room, not even in the bathroom. No thermostat to adjust the temperature and poor soundproofing. In short, too expensive for quality.

We stayed one night at this hotel, and the lady at the reception was extremely kind and available, but the thing that I find unacceptable in a hotel is the live music inside until 11:00.

Awful service ! Full prices, no reservation booked when we checked-in. No breakfast included like it was said online... and finally no breakfast at all ! And the cherry on the cake : music started at 11pm downstairs (where there is a kind of bar and casino stuff), no soundproofing in the room ! The bathroom was small and no hot water for all people on the room !Try to find another place !!

Expensive for nothing!

This is written to be fair to prospective travellers and the hotel. Our group was tired from a 124 k ride, so our first smell of the lobby and old booze almost had us cancel, but arriving at our room on the Third Floor gave us peace and quiet. The room had a sink and towels and the small, clean, shared bathroom had a great shower. No A/C. Skimpy breakfast. Coffee maker in room.

Third floor best for quiet sleep. Good location.

This place is not really recommended, not even on a small budget... the floor is crooked and crooked, you look full drunk. It's loud and loud. For the same money you get something better.
