We stayed only for 1 night. The room was of a good size with coffeemaker, fridge and microwave. The sheets were clean as well as the bathroom. The lady at the reception was welcoming and helpful. Couldn't say the same thing for the one-and-only staff at the adjoining restaurant when we thought we would have our dinner there. The breakfast was average - continental but no fruits.

The only thing I would suggest to the hotel management is to remove or move the reading lamps over the headboard because they were quite low that I had hit my my head on it.

Rm 5 - clean and comfortable

Welcoming staff, complimentary breakfast included which is always a bonus - they informed us what type of breakfast was available which is nice to be informed; it's a hop skip and jump away from a Tim Horton's if you want a hot breakfast.
It's a motel style accommodation but it was very nice, clean and tidy. Usual amenities provided in the room and bathroom which is always appreciated. We were only staying one night but it is in a good location, and would stay here again. 

Motel style with welcoming staff. 

Very welcoming environment even when we arrive at almost 9pm. My father in law stayed in a room next to us. Nice solid bed. Quiet area even though it was next to the main road. Close to the Digby ferry. Great restaurants near by. Lovely continental breakfast with lots to choose from. Would stay there again. 

Perfect location and breakfast

check in , lady on the desk September 3 around 5-530 pm was exceptional , wow was she friendly, helpful , i working in the hospitality industry for 20 years, and i just love it when i find someone like this, nothing could go wrong with a check in experience  like that. my wife raved about how friendly she was. rooms were clean, shower was nice , bath room door needed to be shave down to close all the way but very minor to us.  .

clean average hotel, would stay again

While the room had recently been renovated, there were two things that were disappointing.  First, their showers are not pressure balanced, so I got a very stimulating shot of cold water when someone in another room flushed the toilet. The other was the mattress which needs to be replaced.  There were sags on both sides where people sit on the edge of the bed, and there was another almost right underneath my pillow.  We had a king sized bed, but the box spring was only a queen. Location is great, and staff were very friendly.

Disappointing....

Very nice hospitality from the hotel workers. Rate was affordable and made breakfast available before opening hours. stayed 10 days and room was clean well every day. Digby is a small town but lots to see. within 30 minutes, you can visit Saulnierville, Grand Pre, 

Digby Stay

We stayed two nights here. You could not ask for better. Clean,spacious and well appointed room. Staff were very warm and friendly. Housekeeper Tanya was super. Breakfast has plenty of variety and fresh. Recommend it highly for a very relaxed and enjoyable stay.

GREAT!

While visiting Digby last week we stayed at Coastal Inn Digby and the stay was okay. The only rooms they had were smoking rooms, so because of the lateness of the day, we booked two rooms. I'm sure if we had been able to get non-smoking rooms, our stay would had been more pleasant. The continental breakfast was fine, the dining room was very clean, and the employees were very friendly.

Good Motel

This is a wonderful place to stay! You can park right in front of the room so it's convenient and accessible. It's very close to everything. We found it very clean and comfortable. We sat outside in colourful chairs to catch some warm rays in the evening. Even though it's just off the highway it's not noisy at all. The pillows were great, so soft! So many places we stay have flat or lumpy ones. There is a Chinese restaurant attached to the office which is a great change from seafood. Yummy! You can tell the owner takes great pride in taking care of the motel and property. There are window boxes outside all the rooms with begonias blooming, adding a lovely pop of colour. When we travel this route again, we will definitely be choosing this place to stay.

Great motel!

Surprisingly big clean room, friendly front desk, good location. Much better than those big chain hotels/motels. Big open space and parking. Well worth the $. & minutes to ferry terminal.
The attached (Chinese) restaurant closed every Monday & Tuesday.
