Upon checkin we had friendly service. This motel is dated but rooms are clean. Beds are  a bit hard for my liking. They let us know when we checked in that they had no housekeeping staff and to just as if we needed anything. No blow dryers or irons in the rooms. Rooms were cheap and we weren't there for vacation or to splurge so it was fine!

Such a nice little spot in a quaint little town. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Nice to have the fridge and microwave. Sitting area separate from bed. And the couple that run the joint are super friendly and accommodating.

Fantastic Experience

Room includes: free wifi, TV, telephone, microwave, coffee maker & coffee, toaster, and mini fridge.  There is a window style air conditioning unit but it is loud and controls difficult to reach as unit mounted high up wall.    
Disappointed that room cleaning only done every 2nd day (if staying more than 1 day) although you can attend to the office to exchange towels on a daily basis.
Room appears to be clean although there were some minor stains on the carpets, walls and bathroom ceiling.
I would be willing to stay here again as their rate was substainally cheaper than the only other place in town.

Average quality motel

We were in Elk Point on business, and decided we’d support local business and stay in the town. The other motel was all booked up because of a hocked tournament, so we booked here.
When we pulled up, the exterior of the building was pretty shabby looking, so we didn’t have a great feeling. When we went to check in, there were no staff in the office, and we finally had to call the service number to get someone to come to the motel from offsite.
Check in was smooth enough, as we had booked online. We got our keys and went to our rooms, which was a bit of a challenge as there wasn’t much done for snow clearing a path around the parking lot.
When we got to our rooms, we found very flimsy doors and locks, which, as younger women traveling alone, didn’t make us feel that confident. Once we got into the rooms, it was clear that there hadn’t been much in the way of upgrades or maintenance since likely the 70s (except the small flat screen TVs). It was dingy & dated, stuffy and stale smelling.
We ultimately decided that it wasn’t worth it, and our clients suggested we check out immediately & booked us in to a modern hotel in the next town over so we could get a decent nights sleep.

Just don’t.

The best Motel in Elk point. 
It was very clean rooms and staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
Very reasonable price as well.
We enjoyed our stay and will come back for sure. Definitely recommend this nice motel.


Clean and very friendly 

I saw terrible reviews of this place but we desperately needed a room in Elk Point. I called the motel & told him that I would really appreciate it if the room was clean. He was very friendly & most accommodating. We had a room with 2 beds on the top floor & the sheets, towels etc were all very fresh & clean. It is an older place but when I asked him to please have it clean, believe me it really was all nice & really clean! very reasonably priced too. I will definitely stay here again!!

Nice & Clean & very reasonable!

Ive stayed in a lot of dive hotels in my time traveling for work but this one takes the cake, stained sheets, dirt on the floor you can feel even when walking in slippers, hair and dust behind the beds on the heating vent, terribly stained carpet.walls are filthy, mould  in the bathroom window, paint pealing off the walls, walls are very thin so you can hear your neighbour clear as day, if you are on the bottom level  the people walking around above makes it very hard to sleep due to the fact that it sounds like somebody is gonna come through the ceiling , DO NOT STAY HERE, go to the next town or take the money you would spend here and go buy a tent, and stay at the dump, it'll be cleaner
