It was so noisy!!! They let someone above us with noisy shoes stomping all over our ceiling.  There floors are laminate so the noise resonates.  We were woken up around midnight with stomping above us.  We complained to the management and they did talk to them, but by then we were awake and angry.  The highway is near and trucks were constantly travelling.  Worst night ever. Do not go there.

The Staff are very friendly and accommodating, it needs some work to bring it up to standards that most people would find suitable.
Newer beds and Headboards would be to me the most important things needed. Road noise is atrociously loud as well, not sure anything can be done due to location, so bring earplugs if you want to sleep. Internet is not good as well, needs a stronger router.

This Motel Needs Some Work to Bring It Up to Standard

Reasonable accommodation. Room was clean, beds are fairly comfortable and wifi works reasonably well. Seems room has been recently updated with floors and paint. Bathroom was clean.
Shower in my room has some issues with the cold water adjustment, likely a threaded valve but works good enough. Kitchenette supplies are a bit lacking. 
Overall decent above average. 

Not bad accommodation 

We reserved a pet-friendly room online in this low-budget motel but when we arrived we were told they gave away our room so we had to pay $10 extra for our small dogs for a different. Recognizing the convenient scam, I tried to argue, but knowing there weren't any other vacancies in town knew we'd have to stay. Then, we saw the room - worn and dirty. Old splatters on the walls, smears on the mirrors, dirt in the corners, etc. I spilled a bit of water on the floor and when I wiped it up, the paper towel was black. The room was so grungy I didn't want to touch anything. We've stayed in a lot of different places over the years and have fairly low expectations when it comes to budget travel, and this place is at the lowest end of low end. Only positives were the air conditioning, and the park next door - great for the dogs, plus a small water park, outdoor pool and skatepark for the kids. 

Disgusting room and extra charge for pets

We accidently booked this hotel online as i thought it was another property. We decided to stay rather than seek another hotel. I did not like the fact that suites had full time monthly renters as it gave it kind of a tenement feel but i understand they need to do this to survive after tourist season. Our room was clean and had a full size kitchen and a separate bedroom. The owners were pleasant and the beds were comfy. The shower head needed replacement and a TV in the actual bedroom would have been nice. The kitchen table was too big for the room and so you had to squeeze past it to get to the bathroom and back bedroom. I found the price to be too high. Bonus for not charging for having my dog.

A full suite for the price of a room

We booked online cause we just needed a place to stay for one night and it was the only place around. we didn't have high hopes since its a little motel like thing in the middle of a small town in the middle of no where. But we were pleasantly surprise. The room was fairly updated, brand new looking wash room and full kitchen which we didnt expect but was nice. the only problem was that we checked in (which we rang the bell and hand to wait for someone to come for forever. Then we got our room, went and started unloading maybe 10 minutes later the lady told us we had to chance rooms since someone else just checked in and she wants to give them our room!!! EXCUSE ME!! My husband was not happy. and we were originally on the first floor so then we had to move all the stuff we unpacked up the stairs to a new room since she didnt take no as an answer.. on top of that she basically stood at the door of the room while she tapped her foot at us all like "coem on i have someone i want to move in to this room are you out yet" ... so i wouldn't stay here again
