I stayed there a long time waiting for documents, and it was ideal for the low price. One of the few good, cheap places that will take pets!!!! Priceless, as otherwise you are stuck with high end hotels at 3X the price... Amenities were excellent, ESPECIALLY the top-end smart tv, complete with Youtube and Netflix for free! Clean, well maintained, in several weeks the only occasional problem was the odd noisy neighbours on weekends, and even that was not severe. Giant Tiger right across the street: Very convenient. Fridge, microwave, and an actually nice baththub. The staff is extremely nice and accomodating.

Low price and good service

We had booked for 3 nights and we only spent one. After making sure that the motel was non-smoking and we showed up for our first night. The room was 15 degrees, there was a smell but the more the room temperature increased, the more the smell of cigarettes was suffocating. We got up and it was 28 degrees in the room. I don't tolerate the smell of cigarettes and I had palpitations all night. I didn't see any furniture in the room. My room key had been left in a mailbox with my receipt for the transaction.

If you're not a smoker avoid at all costs

The lady's super nice, clean room, perfect for a small budget and with kids and a beautiful beach and park nearby.

Good for budget travelers. Go ahead and book it if you are not a snob. It is a pleasure to keep in touch with wonderful providers of this hotel. They was very attentive to all your questions and needs.

Great for budget one night stay

Classic motel, spacious room, lack of maintenance work (traces of burnt cigarettes on the edge of the bathtub, broken floor tiles, quick-painting of wall paint). Otherwise, it's a very quiet night. Close to the shopping area, you can even have pizza delivered to your room! Very nice and cool home. Parking ok.

Good hotel for a night.

The room smelled like the old ashtray (very strong smells of cigarettes), the hot water was missing, after only a bath there was no hot water left to rinse. They gave us room #4 the key was waiting for us in the mailbox because of our late arrival, the key was not working at the door #4 there was written #7 on the key door, when I tried door #7 I disturbed other customers.

That was the last time we'd do it!

Bedbugs, cigarette holes in blankets, broken locks. Looked shady. Otherwise only good for one night stay only. Can probably get better places to stay for only a few bucks more. Wouldn't recommend for families, the place doesn't feel safe.

You get what you pay for

We were traveling from Montreal to Ottawa and needed an inexpensive place for the night. We pulled up and 4 or 5 guys were sitting outside without shirts on drinking beers and smoking.  They looked like permanent residence. The motel looked old and run down. The rooms were clean, but we had wires hanging out in the room. The beds felt like bricks. The lady at the desk was friendly and recommended several places to eat. Overall,  this was the worst place we stayed while traveling 12 days in Canada and the northeast. 

Not worth it

Arriving for a night at the motel at the end of July, we had not booked, the reception of the person at the counter was very friendly. The room and bathroom were clean, but the exterior not very well maintained broken chairs laid out outside it is a pity for the image.

Right, just fine

Typically small inexpensive motel but a hidden gem. Rooms are updated with wood look floors rather than the typical carpet. Bathroom had jet tub. Ideally located for exploring Gatineau and surrounding area. Front desk staff super friendly.  Will return on next trip to quebec
