The room was covered in dust and every window/mirror was dirty. The bedding and towels were stained. There was a giant hole in the mattress. The room smelt musty. We had booked the hotel as we were there to see family and just wanted something cheap. The staff were friendly but the room wasn't worth it.

You get what you pay for...

This place is for truckers that don't care about were they stay. We had no choice because most were full and we got in town very late. The room had a musky smell and wore out. I would not recommend for families or couples

never staying again very rude guy manager,,i was promised to transfer rooms from 213 to room 106 cuz door kept freezing shut,couldnt get in my room every time i left,had to use a torch to heat up the handle,i called the front desk and the woman who was suppose to put me in the new room was gone for the night,the guy at the front said it was being cleaned and i said the person who was cleaning it has been in there for almost 2 hours and the front desk guy said its non of my business and im not getting the room,,,i would advise people do not stay here if this rude person working here at this time jan 12 2018 at 12;58pm who ever this person is should not be working here or needs to learn some manners,also he threatened to physically come to my room and throw me out,he cursed at me and talked down to me,he shouldnt be working here,iam scared to even stay here with him,he seems dangerous,cursing and threatening me and he even walked into my room when i was in the bathroom and was on skype wth my GF ad just got out of the shower and was naked and staff member decided to use their key and walk in at 620pm,,just horrible

My family and I decided to take a well deserved trip to grande prairie for my birthday to see family, do some shopping, and catch up. We were on a budget and the Westport inn had the best prices in town. We traveled from fort st john (where it was -41 when we left) to grande prairie on December 7th 2017, when we arrived on grande prairie it was -30 and we were looking forward to getting into our hotel and warming up for a few minutes before we went to see family. My fiance, my 6 month old baby and I finally arrive after hours of traveling in freezing cold weather... we walk into our room and it was so cold we could literally see our breath.. we immediately went to go crank the heat and it was already turned all the way up, that's when we came across 2 small cheap space heaters, desperate for any kind of warmth we plugged them in (my fiances truck hear was kicking out the entire drive, we couldn't even feel out toes) only to find out only 1 of the heaters worked, so my fiance bared the cold and went to the ground desk where they had no problem giving us another space heater for our room... indicating that they were well aware that the room had no heat what so ever. By that time I had my 6 month old daughter out of her car seat and her and I bundled next to the space heater, she was fuzzy and ice cold from being in this room. We got our 2 space heaters plugged in, and left to warm up elsewhere, when we got home our breaker box went out in our room due to the space heaters being plugged in. It took them a good 15-20 to turn it back on after we called them to notify it was out in our whole room. By this time I had my mother there as well. She was furious and worried that if the power went out in the middle of the night due to space heaters my baby girl would be froze!!  It was an embarrassment, and a total let down for my 18th birthday. I'd like to speak to a manager of this hotel, there is regulations to running a hotel and HEAT is one of them. I paid full price for our room and by no means got an apology or a refund.

You get what you pay for..

No central heating, just two noisy hot air fans. Electricity for light went off twice in the night. As the hôtel phone was not working, we had to get dressed by torchlight to walk over to réception during à cold night.
Free breakfast at À & W was good but we had to ask for vouchers,  they were not offered automatically.
Good internet and pleanty of hot water.
Pleasant staff. Manager apologised for problems and refunded 30% of the cost.
