I drove passed earlier in the day and was hesitant at the appearance of the place from the outside.   Ill diplomatically say that it looks run down.  There is also considerable construction going on.

When I came back at the appropriate time I was advised that I was in the other building, so you drive round an in a different entrance, the other side of the building work.  Parking is a little cramped due to the building work, but I imagine that even if the motel was completely full there would still be room.

The room was very quiet and I had the room 1 off the road, nice clean room, comfy bed.  

It goes tot show that you shouldn't always judge a book by its cover as it where.

We had a surprisingly great sleep!! We were a bit concerned when we sat on the bed after Check in but we slept like rocks!!! 

We stayed here because they allow pets. Check in was easy and friendly. The motel is old, clean, comfortable, cozy and yes, we will stay here again if we are ever in Hope again. 

It’s right on the highway so logically I came prepared and brought my earplugs. So I don’t know if it was loud outside or not. I always travel with earplugs as you don’t know who your next door neighbours are anyways.

Great sleep

Love this motel! The rooms have lots of character with the decor and furnishings, and Raj at the front desk was super friendly. It made a great first night for our trip. I Would definitely stay here again. 

Awesome motel 

This is an old dumpy motel that is right on the highway, which provides a long night of loud diesel trucks and tractor trailers driving by at high speed to serenade you to sleep, in conjunction with the sounds of the upstairs guests pacing back and forth on the thin wooden floor. 
The bed was fairly comfortable although the mattress creaked if you moved. The room was as clean as a 60 year old place will get.

I've been staying at this Motel many times, on and off, for about twenty years. I've always been treated kindly and with respect. It's not anything fancy but it's a good an inexpensive place to stay as a homebase to explore Manning Park, Silver Lake, and other lakes and nature trails in the area. 

I also like that it's close to downtown Hope to access groceries, the good local restuarants, fuel, etc.

Yes, the decore is old, but the beds are good, it's kept fairly clean, I can take my two small dogs along for an extra modest price, and some units have kitchens in them--for which is economical in making one's own meals..

Overall, I think it's a decent place to stay, and I would stay there again.

Inexpensive Decent Place to Stay

We were there on confirmed booking through booking.com I had a conversation with the Raj, the owner, on the phone and through the messages to confirm if we could arrive earlier then check in time and he responded. However, when we arrive they did not have any booking for us. Staff member said that he does not see my name on the excel sheet but he has my reservation on the system. Staff called Raj. Raj showed up 20 minutes while we waited. Raj said that they had a system issue due to which they could not see the reservations. I asked Raj the reservation was made almost 10 days ago and you put your reservation on the excel sheet. So how can it be missed. The least I expect is a courtesy call about the issue. Raj said he is not going to charge me. Completely showing disregard to the fact I was with the family and  we did not have a place to stay for the evening. Raj said that it is not problem since the system went down. However, the staff showed me my reservation. I believe the room is double booked and where they can get higher price they give the room to that customer. Raj mentioned that confirmation from booking.com does not mean anything since it is just system generated. I would not recommend this place at all to trust. There were couple places we went and asked for room and one place told us that I was the third customer who had similar issue from the same Inn Towne Motel. This place should be investigated for their booking practices.

This place is fraud.

Wow! This is a gem. This place has character and charm. It is very clean, spacious, comfortable. I cannot believe this is only a two star hotel as it is far better than most in this class. Raj, who I assume is the operator, was incredibly friendly and helped book our room over the phone. When we checked in, he personally took us to our room and helped us get settled. Lots of privacy, very powerful and effective air conditioning, friendly service, the pet friendly room was impeccably clean, and parking/location was easy.

We travelled during a heat wave where British Columbia hit 49.5°C and our room remained cool. The family owned operation was so welcoming despite bring overwhelmed with desperate people looking to escape the heat with last minute bookings. 

This place has such a nice atmosphere and my kids loved it. I will definitely stay again. My pictures don't do it justice but it is soacious, bright, and smells fresh and is kept unbelievably clean.

We stayed in Room 108 and it was much more than we were expecting for the very reasonable rate.

Charming, clean, friendly, and spacious

We have been coming to this motel every other weekend and have loved it everytime. Its our little home away from home during these hard times with covid. The rooms are always cleaned and organized. Raj has slways been more than helpful weather its getting us a deal or getting up to unlock our door because the key was accidentally left inside. Wifi is good, rooms have ac and mini or full kitchenettes. Lots of restaurants near by and trails for walking. Will always be our go to.

Our favorite place to stay

Our company booked the rooms. I stayed in room 101. These are just some of the issues with this accommodation. I don’t believe all the rooms are this bad.
Broken windows in kitchen, mold on the shower curtain,stains on bedding and mattress,
Thermostat is either on or off. Any where between 1/8th to 1/4 inch of dirt and filth on the base boards, refrigerator has not be defrosted in months if not years. The dead bolt does not work. There are discarded toilets and garbage piled outside the door on the north side of the building,
Several layers of very poorly laid flooring on the kitchen, I think by now you get my point. I slept in my clothes. I would not recommend this motel to anyone.

Room101

The staff were pleasant and helpful with information re: takeout.  The room was a mixture of furniture, some in poor condition.  They had a kitchenette which was stocked with mismatched cutlery and dishes.  The air conditioning unit blew dustballs when turned on.  The bathroom and beds seemed clean.  We stopped on our way through....would not have stayed more than one night.
