The motel is in serious disrepair. When you enter the room you are greeted with a strong fragrance. I soon figured out it was to mask the filth. Dry wall was crumbling above the glass door. It was when I pulled back the sheets on both beds that I told my husband there was NO way I was staying. The sheets had obviously been slept in. There were hairs and smeared blood on one of the beds. When I checked the other bed, there were semen stains on the sheets. We promptly left. The man at reception was not happy but thats too bad. Where is the health unit? This place should be bosrded up! Stay away!

Doors do not lock, rooms are dirty and the staff were horrible to deal with. 
Worst experience I’ve ever had staying anywhere… in my entire life.
Stay literally anywhere else. Spend the extra money. Do yourself a favour

Worst motel I’ve ever been to

If you value your health and well-being you won’t stay here. The stench as soon as you walk in the front door is absolutely disgusting, the filth in the stairwells in the hallways is even more disgusting than the stench. Walk into your room and there’s mold the ceiling is chipping away the furniture looks like they just took it off the street from somebody’s yard sale the microwave looks like it’s from 1967 the bedsheets couldn’t tell if it was blood or lipstick couple of the towels in the bathroom couldn’t tell if it was human feces stains with chocolate stains irregardless the place is a dump never ever stay in this place again

Welfare hotel

First of all, check in keys are pulled & stored in a yogurt container. No elevator.  Our room didn’t even have a formal number on the door.  It was a photocopy pasted with tape.  The keys don’t work.  People were able to go in and out of our room until we received a strange key.  You know when you were a kid and you had a diary with a little metal key, well that was the key to lock and unlock the door.  Rooms are musty smelling and filthy.  We could hear dogs barking in the surrounding rooms.

Terrible

We stayed here one night in summer. This motel is in a central location in Huntsville. Friendly and welcoming staff who are happy to help. The rooms are a good size. There is a microwave and air con in rooms. The facilities are clean. Would stay again.

Location was perfect staff were very friendly and helpful especially crystal and Brian, awesome place to .family friendly awesome 
Pet friendly I would definitely come back. awesome town. Rooms was very clean .

Blood on the sheets, the door did not lock, holes in the walls, the smell was gross. They accommodated us to get another room but the smell was unreal in this one too.

Demolished condition hotel!!!! AVOID IT!!!
We have booked this hotel for Family day as there was no other option in terms of accommodation due to the long weekend. The pictures looked nice and we did not check reviews this time due to last moment booking. 
When we have arrived - oh boy!!! Even entrance to the parking lot   was not cleaned from snow...despite the fact that snow was 2 days ago.....we have to drive into deep snow in order to park the car....parking lot was not cleaned even next 2 days.
Entrance door and lobby brutally dirty! The garbage was not removed from entrance garbage bins all our stay...all this garbage was all over parking due to high winds.
Now room!!! That is  a real nightmare!!!! We never stayed in so dirty place + it looked like someone just broke everything inside....
It was no cleaned...except changing bedding ....even this in  under ???
Bathroom did not have lights ....and all hangers where broken....and big holes in walls everwhere....
Mirror was in toothpaste ....and looked like not cleaned for long time....
Honestly I can not even comment. 
As first hour I was cleaning bathroom and all surfaces in order to put our staff on.....
Normally I do pictures....but I did not this time as .....it was like abandoned house without care at       
 least 10 years! 



Nightmare place to stay!!!!

Made a reservation online for one night for me and my dog. It was only $100 for the night and the pictures looked ok. I didn’t read any reviews, but how bad could it be?

Upon arrival, the front desk was empty and there was a sign asking to call the number. Someone answered the phone quickly and came right away. However, the person that showed up looked more like a drug addict than hotel staff. Bare feet, torn t-shirt, and of course no mask. She asked for my name and wrote it down on a piece of paper, asked what type of room I needed. She did not look up my reservation on a computer and did not ask for any ID or payment method. I said the size of room didn’t really matter, it was just me and the dog for one night.

Now this is where it gets really strange. She said she could let me into a room but that I couldn’t have a key to the room and if I left the room I would have to prop the door open. She said it would be fine and my dog would be ok. The reason for this was that she only had the one key to the room. In what world does someone think this is ok? I said “No Thank You”, turned around and walked out. My overnight trip turned into a day trip and we drove home.

On the reception desk was a small basket with a note saying to leave your keys in the basket when leaving in the morning. Anyone could take the keys at any point since nobody is working the reception desk which I assume is why she is missing keys to the rooms, and not changing the locks on them when keys go missing.

Lesson Learned: Always read the reviews before booking.

How is this place in business?

I booked 2 rooms for one night at this hotel because it was close to hwy 11.  We were returning from Cochrane after a funeral.  Big mistake !  I usually check reviews but didn’t as I was in distress due to death in the family.  There are very few good reviews for this hotel.  The good ones must have been written by family and friends.

It is a rundown place with no service.  Arriving at 3pm we had to call and wait for our keys as there was no one at reception.  When she arrived she gave us the keys and that’s it, she was gone.  We had to avoid piles of dirty laundry and garbage bags in the hallway on the way to our rooms.  Even saw the maid cleaning rooms in bare feet - that did not inspire confidence.  Sure enough, the rooms were not clean.  In one room the sink tap was wobbly and leaking underneath.  We had to ask for toilet paper and Kleenex.  Got the toilet paper but no Kleenex.  Both rooms had no toilet paper bar !  

In one room the radio was not plugged and we could not reach the receptacle.
There is no fan in the bathrooms so the ceiling and door paint were peeling.  In one room the curtains were off the track.

They advertise breakfast but because COVID they didn’t have it.  That is a real cop out as we stayed in 2 hotels the previous week and both had breakfast.  They also advertise for a newspaper, we never saw one.

All this for $170 plus taxes/night/room.  So, my advice is STAY AWAY FROM THAT HOTEL.  I give it one star because I can’t do ZERO !

We never got an invoice for our stay as there was never a person at reception.  They just charged our credit card.
