Scaled bathroom and mold. Scaled room paint. Air conditioner flowing. Urine on the toilet edge. Hairs all over the sink. Very disappointed that I paid for this, I will not go back to it. At the price it charges it is extremely disappointing and annoying.

Disappointing in Cleanliness

The hotel is nothing fancy. But the rooms are big and  clean; the beds are comfortable. It is very close to the highway and close to other services such as gas stations and coffee shops. It is good value for the price.

Good Value for the Price

After reading the negative reviews about the place, I still made a reservation. Maybe we were lucky our room was impeccable. Nine mattresses carpet very comfortable and unusually clean. Despite the traffic of trucks at the nearby truck stop we were never disturbed. I recommend room number 23.

Pleasantly surprised.

The last minute choice is rather limited in terms of accommodation in this area for the holiday season. Despite this we accepted this room on hotel.com. It was said in the center of the village in the ad. In fact it's almost in the village of Côté. The room is correct, but nothing more. The door is difficult to open. The light next to the bed (head) doesn't work. In the bathroom, there is water per floor even before we take our shower. The bathroom has been painted and scaled. The air conditioner works like that? We still hear it. The room, or rather the motel, is at a motel service station where trucks (vanes) are in demand. In addition, you can see them coming. For the price, we expect better.

We were driving for over 12 hours and needed a spot to sleep. We got that but that is all. The room was not cleaned well with a random pill left on the table next to the microwave. Good thing we didn't have small kids since we didn't notice this until we were leaving in the morning. The ceiling is in need of repair as it looked like it had leaked but wasn't fixed. The beds were ok...the hair on the pillow made me wonder. The tub was rusty by the drain but the water was hot and plentiful.

Drive by

The motel is clean and functional.  While it does need some minor maintenance and upgrading, the bed is comfortable and the room is air conditioned. What makes it a gem is the other services you need that are just a few steps away: gas station, convenience store with a small deli, nice restaurant (Normandin), and Tim Hortons. Overall, the motel is part of a convenient stop for the night when travelling on the A20.

Convenience all round

A small clean motel conveniently located close to the highway, an hour east of Quebec City.   CAA (Caron Garage) dropped us off there on a Friday evening when our RV broke down on the way home to Ontario.  Turned into a pleasant evening.  Singing in the little pub, dinner at the Normandin Restaurant next door, breakfast at Tim Hortons across the road.  Garage Morneau replaced the fan belt first thing Saturday morning and we were back on the road by 9am.  It's a small Quebec community so knowing a bit of French helps.  My husband looked up the French vocabulary on his phone and wrote down the words he needed so he could explain the situation to the mechanic on Saturday morning.

Highway Breakdown Stop

Excellent service from the lady at the reception (important to point out because these people are often forgotten). After 12 hours of driving, I got to this place. Small motel, near a truck stop (which brings a constant noise of trucks going back and forth... so if you're sleeping lightly, I suggest earplugs), gas station, Tim Hortons across the street and stick to the highway. Very expensive clean room (which would require a little rejuvenation cure), confo bed (which surprised me a lot). No. I'd go back there without a problem.

Rest for a few hours

Old room, but very clean, nothing to say. The door handles are hard. Our front door was faulty and hard to barricade. New doors would be welcome. The fridge and cafeteria in the room. Air conditioning not wonderful and noisy. We slept well despite everything. For the price, we should not complain too much. To spend a night it is good. Nearby: Gas Station, Normandin Restaurant, Subway, Tim Hortons, shopkeeper. All within easy reach, you can walk there. Just off the highway, access is very easy. So, on the contrary, there is a 'truck stop' just back from the motel. The noise of trucks arriving in, walking away from and from St. John's is easy to get around. For those who do not want to go to the door, it is easy to get around the door. Yes, it is easy to get around the door.

For one night... that's right.

Clean room check in was OK however the woman who checked us in either couldn't or wouldn't speak English.that bothered me a little but didn't dwell on it. Restaurant was within walking distance with a Tim Hortons across the street for all you die hard fans. Room was nice, motel property well looked after not the Ritz but very nice
