Absolutely gross!walls were filthy; sink was filthy; floors were filthy; I asked the housekeeping staff to come in and clean the inside of the door because it was so filthy when I came in should’ve asked them for a cleaner room, put towels on the floor because the floor was so gross. There was some kind of matter on the walls, I have to say the beds were clean which is why I stayed. I did not walk barefoot on the floors because they are gross.  The room smelt of air freshener very strongly when I came in likely due to wanting to mask the smell. The heat source is a wall AC heat unit which is loud.
Also, The, weatherstripping along the bottom door needs to be replaced. The exterior light shines through the bottom of it in the summertime. I would think that bugs would be a concern. .

Absolutely gross

Nice and comfortable spot, great location if you’re visiting Lindsay. Only issue with room was missing plug for bath and they rectified it within a minute when raised. Would likely stay here again if in town. 

Pleasant stay 

The room was small and dated but clean and a good deal at $100/night.
However when we got home and reviewed our visa banking there were 3 fraudulent charges. 
The only time the card was used in the 3 days in Lindsay was at the Kent Inn. According to the card company it was first used an hour after checkin.
In the interest of openness, I am not saying that the fraud was as a result of the Kent Inn, I am just stating the facts as I know them.

Unwanted experience.

I was pleasantly surprised by this Inn! Just stayed a night when visiting family nearby and we had an excellent stay at this charming little Inn. 

Th owners checked us in smoothly and were very friendly and helpful. What a nice couple. 

We were in the building in the back of the lot, room 110 which had a nice little outdoor space with a bench. The room was quite large with a very comfortable king sized bed with a ton of pillows! I love that I didn’t have to hunt down extras as I need at last 3 to sleep. Felt very luxe for an Inn.  The room was also extremely immaculate. Not a hair or a speck of dust anywhere.  We had a great sleep in that very comfortable bed. 

Location is great with shops and restaurants nearby as well as a lovely garden/park where a farmers market is hosted on the weekend. 

I highly recommend this spot for cleanliness, cuteness and location. Great value for money!

Beautiful, well maintained Inn in the heart of Lindsay

Check in was fast and easy, told us instructions where to drop the key in the morning. Room was a ground floor and we could park right outside the door. Room was a bit smaller then the picture online but clean and comfy. Mini Fridge was great, tv worked & free wifi. Area seemed busy but room wasn't noisy at all. They even gave us a coupon for a breakfast place down the street. Will stay here if we return to the area. 

Great Stay for a little town! 

Old crappy hotel.  I don’t know where these other  reviews came from, this place is awful. 
The room is updated and looks modern. The door has a single key and locks from outside. There is no dead bolt on the door!!!! The room smells bad. The bed is ok. The shower has mold in it. The bedding is a sheet and a blanket and a single layer of material on top that looks like a comforter  it is not. Staff was good. They gave me an extra blanket. You can hear everything that happens in the hall, on the stairs and in other rooms.  I won’t stay here again.

Bad place

We have stayed at the Kent Inn 3 times... the rooms we got each time were very small but clean and adequate.   The day after getting home from our last trip we were shocked to see an unapproved additional charge of $44.20 on our charge card from the Inn.  When we called to enquire about this, we were told that they realized that they hadn't charged us the correct price so they added it on to our card the next day.  We would not have agreed to stay there at the higher price and had obviously not given them permission to add another charge to our bill so we are quite upset with them.  It took some time for my husband to convince them to reverse this extra charge and we will not be staying there again.

Billing surcharge

I was a little nervous when we booked the Kent Inn for a weekend away but the people who own it were lovely and the rooms  were spotlessly clean.  The beds are super comfortable.  The bathroom is tiny, which is unfortunate, but it was only one night.  I’d happily stay at the Kent Inn again.

Great location and so clean!

Kent Inn was well located to reach numerous rail bicycle trails in Lindsay. Reception staff was welcoming and rooms were clean and quiet. There was a storage room for bicycles. Easy to walk downtown for restaurants, or shopping centres.

Great location to do bicycle touring

Great  location for accessing the bike trails around Lindsay. My room was clean and spacious..very reasonable price..1 person..Queen bed,,$90.00. Owners were helpful and allowed us to leave our bikes in a located storage room. Close to a Tim Hortons and walking distance to restaurants. Beautiful town!
