It was a good place, but I wasn't given a receipt, so I had to ask for one, and was given a handwritten one, with taxes included. I even wonder if she can ask for taxes, so the room ended up being very expensive. Also, the place was so hard to find, as there was no sign on the house. She's very friendly.

Good bed and breakfast

Rosa's B&B has a good location. It's a +- 20min walk from the center of Kingston.
Our room was very clean and comfortable. the breakfast was very good. (Great pancakes). Our hostess, Corrine advised us to go swimming and kayaking in Gould lake Although this is not a national park it was very beautiful and we saw a lot of animals. Best tip of our holiday! Thank you Corrine. We would stay here again

Good location and great host.

Very hospitable welcoming hostess. Huge home cooked breakfast. Delicious fruit and yogurt , cheese, bread and eggs cooked to your choice.
I had an ankle injury and the hostess went out of her way to help me.
I would have liked it to have been warmer.

Caring in Kingston

I usually stay at hotels but the prices were inflated as it was the end of August and I was helping my son move into a house for 2nd year University at Queen's. I spotted Rosa's and thought 'why not'! It was great, close to the Uni and housing, clean and beautifully furnished. Corinne was lovely and made the most delicious breakfasts! She had all sorts of hints and tips of where to go to pick up things and who to talk to regarding furnishing a house as well as places to visit in the area for some R&R.Super comfy room with private bath and AC. Couldn't rate it higher.I think Lola will miss me playing tug of war :0)

Great B&B

A hostess of incredible simplicity and sympathy! As soon as we arrived we thought we were home so much that Corinne was able to make us comfortable. We had the entire second floor for the two of us, the beautiful room was renovated every day, the laundry changed, the excellent and more than satisfying breakfast was cooked by Corinne in front of us in the family kitchen decorated with taste, while discussing things and others like old friends! Corinne also gave us good walking tips.

What a welcome!

We stayed three nights at Rosa's while on a long weekend visit to Kingston. We found our host Corinne most gracious and full of helpful tips about where to check out the area's hidden treasures.  Our room was clean and private and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious and artfully presented. The only small issue preventing us from assigning a five star rating was the fact that the room got quite hot and the air conditioner was a bit of a challenge to operate, not to mention that it can easily overload the electrical system and trip a breaker, which happened on our first night. 
But in balance, we would certainly stay there again and recommend Rosa's B&B as a great alternative to a hotel stay.

We stayed here for one night only, to break the trip from Toronto to Shawinighan, but it was really worth it! The b&b is 10 minutes from downtown Kingstone. The room was wide and clean, the bathroom really nice, on the top floor of a typically American cabin in the middle of the green. The bathroom was two-room but since we were the only guests we didn't have to share it with anyone; the whole plan was reserved for us! The car could be parked on the street in front of the b&b. The breakfast was rich, plentiful and very good! We chose the cakes but alternatively with eggs or French toast. In addition, fruit, shortened form, bacon, steamed sauce, and corn beans were served during the cornbread, and we were very pleased to have a nice breakfast in the presence of Mrs. Lola, and we were very much recommended to have a nice breakfast in the hotel, which was also served by a bunch of dogs, and we were very pleased to have a nice breakfast in the presence of her, and we were very pleased to have a nice
